This is a game that Brown can possibly win Outright. For starters, more than 80% of the public is on Northwestern which is something to take note. Brown is a decent team who has played well to power rankings. This is a team that lost to Providence by 4 points on the road who is a top 85 team which should say a lot about this team as they lost 79-83. They lost to Bryant by 3 points on the road who I have as a top 125 team. And most recently come off a loss to Albany a top 175 team in a contest they should not have lost at home probably looking ahead to playing a Big10 school in Northwestern. I like Brown coming off a loss in a contest where they should have never lost. This is a squad that we have as likely losing by 3 points based on our models today in a low scoring affair. With Chris Collins team coming off a big win against a team outside the top 300, this is a let down spot for them as their biggest win was against Western Michigan at home who is a team outside the top 150. Western Michigan was held to 35 points that game due to their lack of offense but Brown is a decent offensive team and they will be up for this game. Northwestern was also coming off 3 straight losses in that contest so they had motivation. Look for Brown to be a decent underdog here as they likely stay inside the number this early afternoon. The Bears are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games and the Wildcats are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games when facing a team with a winning percentage of greater than 60% overall.
