Fight Hunger Bowl is played at AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA and this year will feature independent BYU Cougars taking on the PAC12 Washington Huskies. Washington has its work cut out for the team against BYU. The Northwestern team has lost three matches against BYU out of the last three times played. BYU\'s one major advantage is their knack for rushing and gain yards by the fleet-footed. The Cougar\'s a ranked 6th in the nation for successful running of the ball, so if they can find openings in the Huskies\' defense, their rushing could flip the game. BYU defense has been stout all year and it is led by Senior Kyle Van Noy, his playmaking ability has kept Cougars in so many games this year and he is player to watch in this game. Huskies will be without Coach Steve Sarkishian as he has taken the USC job and that will do in Washington as they lose outright to BYU. The Cougars have been money in bowl games recently going 4-0 ATS in last 4 bowl games and they make it 5 straight with big win in Fight Hunger Bowl. BYU always come to play and is highly focused This is a Morman Church University and the National exposure is their huge way of getting out their message. They come to play, behave and win. TAKE BYU
Game: Northern Kentucky at North Carolina (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: North Carolina -27 (-108) at 5Dimes
Northern Kentucky is 0-3 on the road and lost by 30 points to Kentucky already this season, way back in early November. The difference here is that was a Kentucky team built with talented freshmen, playing in early November, before they had a chance to get their feet wet, and used to each other. That team has since grown. The Norse shot just 32% in that game, and were destroyed off the glass by a 50-21 margin. Now they must face a similar team in North Carolina that has played a difficult early schedule, and will welcome the opportunity to have some fun with an easy one. The Tar Heels own a 16-5 ATS record at home vs. a losing team in their last 21, could have this one covered by halftime. Play on North Carolina.
