MAPLE LEAFS ML -116 *4* BEST BET
The Maple Leafs dominate the Senators, always have. Toronto have won 5 straight and 8 of 9
against the Senators, including 2 wins so far this season. The Senators have put together back to
back wins however they are still just 3-4 their last 7 games. The Maple Leafs have found their
groove with wins in 8 of 10 and points in 9 of 10. Getting the better team and the home team at
a line this short is a no brainer for us.
PENGUINS ML -125 *3*
The Coyotes have gone cold, dropping 4 of their last 6 games including going just 1-2 at home in
that span. The Penguins continue to be the Penguins, dominating every night, with wins in 7 of
their past 10 games and an incredible 38-14-2 record on the season. The Coyotes have been
playing to a -0.4 goal differential over their last 10 games while the Penguins a +0.6, not good
news for the Coyotes. We like the Penguins at a great line here.
DUCKS ML -178 *2*
Regardless of this mini-slump for the Ducks, we have to be on them, they are still 22-2-1-1 at
home this season up against a Stars team that have dropped 2 in a row and 5 of 8. Even with the
losses the Ducks are still 7-3 in their last 10 games. The price might be high, but we think the
Ducks would win this game at least 2 out of 3 times.
BRUINS ML + BLUES ML +110 *2*
BRUINS -1 + BLUES -1 +209 *1*
The Oilers have lost 11 straight meetings between these two teams including a 4-2 loss at home
to these same Bruins in December. Despite the fact that the Oilers have 3 straight wins, it is
statistically impossible for them to continue winning if they keep getting severely outplayed - Ben
Scrivens can only do so much for them. The Bruins have won 4 of 5 overall. Additionally they are
20-6-0-2 at home while the Oilers have just a 8-18-3-1 road record.
The Blues will be looking to bounce back after being embarrassed last night. Luckily for them the
Predators are no more than a .500 team and the Blues have taken 7 of the past 8 meetings
between these two teams (including twice this season). Prior to last night's loss the Blues had
been riding a 3 game win streak. St. Louis are a different beast at home with a 19-5-2 homeComment

3* No Doubt Rout on Miami Heat -
We are getting a lot of value on Miami thanks to a four game run at home from the New York Knicks. None of those four wins have come against decent competition, so I don't think the Knicks have done anything special by winning at home against four bad teams. The competition gets a lot tougher tonight with the defending champions in town. The Miami Heat are coming off two days of rest so I like their chance to have a strong showing on the road today. The Knicks are 11-15 at home this season and 9-17 against the spread in those games. They don't get a lot of benefit from home court advantage, and a well rested team like Miami should have no problem coming to town and picking up a big win. The Knicks are also 7-16 ATS as an underdog this season. This matchup fits into a very profitable system backing the Miami Heat. You should play on a team that is revenging a straight up loss to an opponent as a favorite when they are coming off a home loss. This system identifies teams being undervalued by the oddsmakers, and it is 121-73 (62.4%) against the spread.

4* NBA Non-Conference Game of the Week on Portland Trailblazers -
The Toronto Raptors are playing in a very tough spot today. Last night they were on the road against Denver, and now they have to turn around and head to Portland to play the Trailblazers in the second game of a back-to-back. Portland is a very good team when playing at home posting an 18-5 record, so I like the Trailblazers to pick up an easy win over the Raptors. Portland has several key advantages in this game. They are an outstanding scoring team averaging 108.4 points per game. Toronto on the other hand comes into this matchup averaging a mere 97.4 points per game on the road. The Raptors are -4 in rebounding margin on the road this season, while Portland has a +5 figure in rebounding margin when playing at home. The Trailblazers have also dominated head-to-head matchups with Toronto over the last three seasons. They are 3-1 both straight up and against the spread in the last four meetings between these teams. This matchup fits into a very profitable system backing the Trailblazers. You should play on a team like Portland when they are a 3.5 to 9.5 point home favorite, and they are playing in a game involving two teams shooting 43.5 to 45.5 percent after 42 or more games, and they are +3 to +5 in rebounding margin against a team that is -3 to +3 in rebounding margin on the season. This system has a 72-36 (67%) record against the spread.Comment

2-Unit Play. Take #528 Wisconsin (-5) over Ohio State (Noon, Saturday, Feb. 1)
The Badgers aren't going to lose two home games in a row. They just won't. They took a stunning
loss against Northwestern earlier this week, but Bo Ryan will have his guys focused and ready to
go today. Wisconsin has lost four of five games and they are not playing well right now. But this
is the same team that buried Illinois and beat Iowa at home, as well as earned wins over Florida,
St. Louis and Virginia earlier this season. Ohio State has struggled just as much Ohio State lately,
losing five of six. The difference is that Ohio State hasn't done anything this year to make me
think that they are actually a really good team. Wisconsin has. And in the end home court will mean enough.
Badgers make their free throws down the stretch and cover this number.
2-Unit Play. Take #539 Boston College (+7) over Notre Dame (Noon, Saturday, Feb. 1)
It's a Catholic rivalry game here in South Bend. I have contested that B.C. is not nearly as bad as
they have played this year. And I still believe that. They have cobbled together a 3-2 ATS mark
in their last five, and one of the loses was a competitive home game with Syracuse. These two
teams are basically the same. They do the same things and have the same strengths and
weaknesses. I just don't see this much separation between them and I thought this spread
should've been closer to 4.5. The Irish have only won twice since mid-December so they are no
slam dunk. I think the Eagles hang around.
1-Unit Play. Take #546 St. John's (-2) over Marquette (12:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1)Comment

2-Unit Play. #552 Missouri Tigers +2 over the Kentucky WIldcats (Feb 1 @ 1pm ET)
The Kentucky Wildcats were cruising right along in the SEC until their most recent game where
they fell on the road against the LSU Tigers by a final of 82-87. The Wildcats get another tough
road test today as they take on the Missouri Tigers who are coming off an impressive road win
against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Kentucky is 1-2 in true road games in the SEC and it isn't surprising to see such a young team
struggle in tough road environments. It will be interesting to see what kind of effort Kentucky
gives today on the road after they way they were outmanned by the LSU in their last game.
The Missouri Tigers are coming off a great road win against Arkansas and that marks their 3rd win
in their last 4 games. The Tigers are building back their at-large resume and they have great
opportunities in front of them this week as they take on Kentucky and Florida over their next 2
games.
Jabari Brown is coming off a career game where he dropped 24 points on the Razorbacks and the
Tigers need continued production out of their star guard if they hope to stay in the top part of
the SEC standings.
Missouri has won their last 2 home games against Alabama and South Carolina, but they get a much tougher test today going against the 11th ranked Wildcats.
I'm taking the home team with
the points since I'm still am not sold on this young Kentucky group in tough road environments.
2-Unit Play. #612 Stanford Cardinal -5.5 over Arizona State Sundevils Feb 1 @ 4pm ET)
The Arizona State Sun Devils looked like they were falling out of contention for an at-large bid a
couple weeks ago, but their recent 3 game winning streak against Utah, Colorado, and Cal has put
them right back into the picture. The Sun Devils are led by one of the best point guards in the
country with Jahii Carson who has scored 18+ points in each of his last 4 games.
Carson is coming off an incredible 29 point, 7 assist performance against Cal and he needs to
bring that same intensity today on the road against the Cardinal if the Sun Devils are going to pull
off this upset.
The Stanford Cardinal are a bubble team that needs to continue to pick up wins in games they are
favored if they want at-large consideration. Stanford is coming off a heart breaking 3 point loss
against Arizona, but there is no time for grieving as they get another tough opponent at home
today.
The Cardinal have been getting a nice boost from senior Josh Huestis who is averaging nearly a
double-dbouble over his last 5 games and his contribution has certainly helped the already
consistent Chasson Randle and Dwight Powell.
Stanford is probably kicking themselves over the loss to Arizona, but there is nothing the Cardinal
can do about it now. It will be interesting to see if their recent loss against the Wildcats has any
bearing on them today. Arizona State is coming off a great road win against Cal, but I don't think
lighting will strike twice for them in this Bay Area road trip. I like the home team to win and cover.
2-Unit Play #642 Syracuse Orange -2.5 over the Duke Blue Devils (Feb 1 @ 4:30pm ET)
Today's showdown between No. 2 Syracuse and No. 16 Duke was not being anticipated enough,
the Orange will attempt to break the school record for consecutive wins to open a season when
the Blue Devils come to town. In its inaugural season in the ACC, Syracuse is a perfect 20-0, matching the start by the 2011-12 squad, while Duke has won five straight games.
The Orange, who hold a one-game lead over Virginia and sit 1 1/2 games up on Duke and
Pittsburgh, have won 15 games by double digits. Duke has been tested on the road this year
posting a .500 record on the road this season at 2-2 and this will be their toughest road test to
date.
Duke has alot of talent but beyond Jabari Parker I think they are over rated and a much less off a
potent team than Duke has displayed over the recent years. I like the big orange to stay
undefeated and get this win against the road weary Blue Devils.
2-Unit Play. #616 Towson Tigers -3.5 over Drexel Dragons (Feb 1 @ 4:30pm ET)
The Towson Tigers have the home court advantage today against the Drexel Dragons. The Tigers
are 10-1 at home this season and hold a 13-8 record on the season. At home the Tigers are
averaging 73.7 scoring, and holding teams to 58.7 points scored on defense and have protected
their home court well so far this season.
Drexel is 1-9 ATS their past 10 games played and are 2-6 ATS the last 8 match ups against
Towson. I like the history between these two clubs and have to stick with it and go with Towson
to cover the small -3 here at home.Comment

River City Sharps
We really like the visitor here today as Eastern Michigan travels to Millet Hall to take on the Redhawks from Miami. The Redhawks are really a team that struggles to shoot the ball consistently and is coming off a 13-point home loss to Toledo. EMU is 4-3 in league play and 12-8 overall, but we really think they are a more balanced team than Miami and have been more "battle tested" with road games this year at Duke, Syracuse and Kentucky. This is a game they need to win and should win. One of Miami's biggest problems this season has been their lack of size and getting killed on the glass, where we think EMU will have a major advantage today. We are rolling with the visitors here! The Sharps say...
