Ducks have lost two straight. Backup goalie John Gibson is out, starting goalie Frederik Andersen missed several games with 'leg tightness' and might not be 100%. He definitely didn't look sharp in his return to action on Friday. Ducks will also be without their best player and MVP candidate Corey Perry who is tied for the league lead with 11 goals due to the flu. Ducks have owned the Canucks at the Honda Center of late (won 6 of L7) but Vancouver has looked very good under new head coach Willie Desjardins. Ryan Miller is leading the league in wins and unlike his old team (Buffalo) the Canucks score enough to give him a nice margin for error. Game is much closer to a coinflip than this price suggests--especially with the Ducks' goaltending questions and their best offensive player out of the lineup. Note that when you see athletes missing action with the flu or 'flu like symptoms' there are usually several more players still in the lineup that are 'under the weather'.
The Cali-Cartel has a 50 Dime play on Green Bay at home against Chicago. The Packers are -7 at the overwhelming majority of Vegas and offshore books I've checked as of 8:50 A.M. Eastern as I put my site live on Sunday morning. As a former Bookmaker - and the son of a Bookmaker - I strongly suggest you buy the 1/2 point down on Green Bay if the price you get is either -7 or -7 1/2.
