7-Unit Play. Take #502 Washington (-4.5) over Atlanta (7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Nov.25)
The Wiz are for real. They are 9-3 and overall and 5-1 in front of the starved D.C. faithful. Washington has a real Superstar in John Wall and Bradley Beal is looking like a nice Robin to Wall’s Batman. They also have a very good and underrated big in Marcin Gortat. The major reason for the overall better, more consistent, play this year is the addition of Paul Pierce. The truth has been just that for the Wiz on both ends of the floor. He stabilizes them defensively and gives Wall a pressure release on offense. Pierce really had his pick of where he wanted to go this offseason and it appears he chose wisely for himself and the Washington fans. Defense has been the overall main reason for this 9-3 start and playing at home is where the Wiz really get after it giving up a miniscule 42.2% from the floor. Look for this trend to continue tonight. Atlanta has been up and down and after a 4 game winning streak they have dropped 2 of 3. 6-5 is about what you would expect from the Hawks to this point as they are well coached and play hard on both ends of the floor. They have struggled against the Wiz of late losing 4 of the last 5 and 3 in a row in Washington. Atlanta has also been dreadful against the spread with a 1-6-2 in the last 9 meetings against the Wiz and 1-4-1 in the last 6 in D.C. Both teams have look ahead games on the schedule for Wednesday. Washington travels to Cleveland in a prime time matchup with the Lebrons and Atlanta begins their 4 game homestand against the East leading Raptors. This should be a very good game from start to finish with the Wizards pulling away at the end for a double figures win. 92-81 Washington.

3-Unit Play Take # ‘under’ 203.5 – Sacramento/New Orleans (8:05pm est):
Any time a team loses it’s pont guard it’s always a good idea to look to bet ‘under’ against them their next few games as the betting markets will tend to be slow to react to this big news. We have a great example of that here in this one as the Hornets come into this having lost Eric Gordon which should be a big loss.
These two teams faced off a week ago and that game was lined right around this number at 204. It did make it above that but just barely as the final score hit 206 points in the game.
