4 Unit Play. #320/#724 Take New York Giants -6.5 over Washington Redskins (Sunday 1 pm FOX) The Redskins are in turmoil at the moment as dissention is running wild up and down the organization. The New York Football Giants have gotten out to big leads the last two weeks against bad teams and expect more of the same this Sunday. The Giants already blew out the Redskins once this season in Week 3 and expect history to repeat itself in this game. Washington cannot wait for this season to end and more changes may be coming in the near future.
4 Unit Play. #321/#709 Take Green Bay Packers -4.5 over Buffalo Bills (Sunday 1 pm FOX) The Packers do not blow away teams in the first half on the road like they do at home, but they have enough to take out Buffalo on Sunday. Green Bay is used to the cold weather, so that will not be any advantage for Buffalo in this game. Buffalo played ok last week in Denver and did cover the spread, but that just keeps this number below a touchdown, setting up a strong play with the Packers. Green Bay took the pedal off the gas, and that will allow the coaches to get their attention this week in practice. Buffalo is 3-0 against the NFC North this season, but this will be their toughest test from the NFC. Tom Brady and New England already went into Buffalo and beat the Bills by 15 points, and that is how I see this game going as well. Buffalo has already lost three home games this season, and Green Bay needs to keep winning in order to stay atop the division and conference standings.
5 Unit Play. #329/#729 Take San Francisco 49ers +10 over Seattle Seahawks (Sunday 4:25 pm FOX) Top NFL Game of the Weekend. Very hard to say anything good about the 49ers and anything bad about the Seahawks, but that is where we are heading. One must remember this is still a divisional game, and the 49ers will put forth a good effort on Sunday afternoon. Despite playing terrible on offense, the 49ers defense did play well against Seattle two weeks ago, holding them to 19 points despite short fields and turnovers. It has been three years since San Francisco has gotten this many points, and Seattle is just not an offensive juggernaut that can put points on the board like Denver, New England, or Green Bay. San Francisco is 12-5 ATS in their last 17 road games. I think they can hang around for 60 minutes and keep this a one-possession game.
4 Unit Play. #331/#731 Take Dallas Cowboys +3.5 over Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday 8:30 pm NBC) This is a must-win game for the Cowboys if they have any visions of winning the NFC East, and I believe they will put forth a good effort coming off a mini bye since they played last Thursday. Dallas has played much better on the road this season, going 6-0, and the visitor has been the play in this series, covering the spread in 6 of their last 7 meetings. I am still not a big believer in Mark Sanchez, and the Seahawks provided a blueprint last Sunday as to how to shut him down. Philadelphia is 5-14 ATS (1 push) in their last 20 games against teams with a winning record.
