My 30 Dime selection is Giants over the Brewers. The current line on the game is +110 in Vegas and Offshore. Please specify Lincecum and Lohse at the time of wager. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

(NBA PLAYOFFS) HOUSTON +5 GOLDEN ST (9PM)
GOODFELLAS
(MLB) NY METS -170 PHILADEHIA (1PM)
The NY Mets come home to hopefully right the ship. Starter Colon (6-3, 4.85), conversely, has really fallen off in consecutive losses but the Mets are 17-6 at home. The Mets have won five of six in the season series, including a three-game sweep in New York from April 13-15 to give them wins in eight of 10 home meetings. The Phillies counter with 22-year-old Gonzalez (2-1, 7.11 ERA). Mets have owned Philly all year and it will continue today.

(MLB) OAKLAND/DETROIT OVER 7.5 -110 (4PM)
Shane Greene (4-2, 4.05 ERA) has pitched well in his last three starts, but as you seen can throw a gem or get shelled for 6 runs. Oakland starter Jesse Hahn would like to turn things around after going 0-3 with a 5.96 ERA over his last four outings. The A's put up just 2.3 runs per game during a 1-8 span before totaling 12 to take the last two of a four-game series at Tampa Bay. Too low of a total. Look for this go over.
Athletics -115 (Greene/Hahn)
Might be a good time to start looking at playing Oakland. Got a nice win with them Saturday and then they followed that with a second straight strong game on Sunday, though I didn't play that one. Pitching matchup is close between Greene and Hahn. Actually might trust the Oakland pen a little more here, although I doubt Scribner, who has been outstanding, will be available. Basically, I'm buying that the A's have their first actual shred of momentum coming back home off a good weekend at Tampa, and it's the Tigers are off a pair of losses. Public will love the dog here. Let's play the A's.
Marlins +125
Regardless of my view on the hiring, the new manager angle is in play. Wait for the team to win one, and then see if we can get a few more in a hurry. So far, so good with the Marlins winning the series windup against the Orioles. David Phelps got hit some last outing, but has actually done well starting for Miami. The tough deal here is the Pirates are warming up and Charlie Morton looked good in his rehab starts. But the most I can lose backing the Marlins is one, and at a decent price here, let's go with the Marlins once more.
Reds -1.5 +145
First straight runs line play in I can't remember when. This is a pure Rockies fade. No Tulo, no Cargo (just scratched) and a guy who has struggled badly in Butler. Reds off a bad weekend at Cleveland, but a chance to get healthy here against a team that is as bad as it gets in this situation. Rockies 14-49 as road dogs, 12-47 vs. righty starters on the road, and so on. Marquis is actually a full 1.5 runs better than Butler on the advanced metrics. I'm going to go for a runs line shot here in hopes of a nice payoff.
