Note: I have personally played this for a 3.5* size play. Just an additional half */unit more than our normal 3* size plays. Just passing along for those who may want to do the same. Your call.


These Blue Jays simply hammer LH pitching and they face one this evening in Duffy. Duffy can be prone to not having his command & yielding his share of walks. If his command is off this game will fly over the total IMO. No need for me to copy and paste a ton of stats supporting the fact that Toronto is flat out the most potent club vs LH pitching, they simply are. I do expect them to get to Duffy eventually and I really do not see him getting past the 6th inning here. The Blue Jays send out spot starter Estrada and he is definitely not prone to going deep into ballgames. The Jays bullpen is not great & I wouldn't expect Estrada to see anything past the 6th inning this evening. We have a nice hitters venue here in Rogers Centre & I fully expect both clubs to plate at least 4 runs before all the dust settles in this game. When that happens we cash in our OVER 8.5 play. Bottom line for me here is that I have this total set at 9.25 and I am all over the OVER 8.5 runs tonight.
