5 Unit Play. #481 Take Tennessee Titans +3 over Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday 4:25 pm CBS)
This is one of the marquee matchups of Week 1 despite two terrible teams doing battle. At this point of the season I trust Marcus Mariota more than I do Jameis Winston. The Titans have won their last two road openers the last two years, beating Pittsburgh and Kansas City, two better teams than they will see today against Tampa Bay. Expect Dick LeBeau to improve the Titans defense just enough to frustrate the new quarterback and allow Tennessee to win this game straight up.
4 Unit Play. #470 Take Buffalo Bills +2.5 over Indianapolis Colts (Sunday 1 pm CBS)
Andrew Luck is great but I just am not a fan of the supporting cast that the Colts have around him. Indianapolis has struggled in road openers winning just 1 of their last 5. Coach Rex Ryan has brought even more optimism to an already solid Buffalo team and if they get anything out of Tyrod Taylor I feel that they can win this game straight-up. Indianapolis just beats up on the AFC South and they do not have that impressive record against the other 28 teams. Buffalo made some splashes in the offseason to get better offensive talent and we expect them to pay dividends in this game.
4 Unit Play. #476 Take St. Louis Rams +4 over Seattle Seahawks (Sunday 1 pm FOX)
Expect a Super Bowl hangover for the two time NFC Champions and this is not a defense you want to play in Week 1. Under Jeff Fisher, the Rams are 2-1 straight-up and 3-0 ATS against the Seahawks in St. Louis. This is the year Jeff Fisher needs to elevate this team into the playoffs to show progress is being made and I expect the Rams to start off the season with a 1-0 record. Seattle is not the same team that they were the last two seasons and I expect them to take a step backwards in 2015.Comment

6-Unit Play. Take the #467 Cleveland +3 over NY Jets (Sunday, September, 13 at 1:00 PM ET)
Bookie Buster
This pick falls into one of my elite NFL systems and we are getting tremendous line value with a young Browns team that has more talent than some NFL teams combined. The Browns will come in with a chip on their shoulder looking for respect and to show the world that starting 7-4 last season was no fluke. There is a reason why I made a 8-Unit NFL Futures play on the Browns over 6.5 wins and that is because I know this Browns team extremely well and they will surprise a lot of people early on this season. The Browns are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games played in September and they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games dating back to last season, while the Jets are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games played in September. The Browns are in search of their first season opener win since 2004 and they get it here Sunday. Play the Browns with extreme confidence.
4-Unit Play. Take the #470 Buffalo +2.5 over Indianapolis (Sunday, September, 13 at 1:00 PM ET)
NFL Smash
This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems and we are getting great line value with a Bills team who I have winning this game by 7 points at home Sunday. This Bills team is stacked with talent and under Rex Ryan they are so much better. The Bills will have one of the best defenses in the NFL this season and they will be able to pressure Luck as much as they want Sunday. This is an absolutely terrible first week match-up if your a Colts fan since the Colts simply do not match-up well at all against this Bills team. The Colts defensive line is a mess and Buffalo will be able to run for some big plays at home Sunday especially having a mobile QB under center. Play Buffalo +2.5 with confidence as they win big Sunday.Comment

7-Unit Play. Take #471 Miami (-3.5) over Washington (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 13)
This is just a bad matchup for the Redskins. This is a team filled with drama and they do not have their heads on straight. Miami on the other hand has impressive goals for the season and they want to get this season started on the right foot. The Dolphins defense is just going to be too much for the Washington offense to handle. This game could very well start out slow for both teams, but once the Dolphins defense clamps down the Redskins are going to have too many empty possessions creating easy scoring opportunities for the Dolphins offense. Don't get me wrong, I am not only excited about the Miami D...Their offense is efficient and they have the ability to score. Ryan Tannehill has options in Sills, Jennings, Landry, Cameron, and Parker, as well as a strong running game with Lamar Miller. The Dolphins are just too good for Washington here in Week 1. I can give you trends that you can sink your teeth in to, like Washington being 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games, but this is the first week of the season. This game comes down to which team is just plain better... The Miami Dolphins are just plain better and will win this game by more than a touchdown. Take the road favorite here.
3-Unit Play. Take #463 Green Bay (-7) over Chicago (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 13)
Chicago is just not good. Their secondary is going to get torched, and their offense has too many question marks. Yes, Matt Forte is outstanding, but the Bears don't have much outside of him. Alshon Jeffery is an impressive WR, but he has been hindered with injuries all preaseason and won't be at 100 percent. Currently the Bears best receiving option (depending on Jeffery) is Eddie Royal. Green Bay, even without Jordy Nelson will be able to move the ball at will. Eddie Lacy should/will have a monster game out of the Packers backfield. Chicago gave up the most rushing yards in team history two years ago and then gave up their most passing yards in team history last season. This isn't your fathers Chicago Bears defense. Green Bay has won eight of nine S.U. versus Chicago and this Sunday won't be any different. This game is going to be a double-digit Packers victory, 34-17.
3-Unit Play. Take 488 Dallas (-6) over N.Y. Giants (8:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 13)
Oh the poor Giants, they are still picking up guys off the waiver wire. What are they doing, trying to fix their fantasy football squad? The Cowboys are going to control both lines of scrimmage and in this game easily in front of their home fans. This Giants team isn't very good and they are going to prove it on Sunday night in front of a national TV audience. Yes, Eli Manning has some weapons on the offensive side of the ball, but their defense is just down right abysmal. Once Eli has to start pressing and forcing throws this game could get out of hand early. I wouldn't be suprised to see the Cowboys put up over 40 points. I kow that Dallas doesn't have Murray this season, but Joseph Randle and McFadden will do just fine behind that huge offensive line. Similar to the Green Bay game, the rivalry isn't going to matter. One team is just too good for the other team. Lay the points on the home team as Dallas rolls the Giants 41-20.Comment
