1. Air Force +26.5 over MICHIGAN STATE. I've been wanting to play this one all summer. It's my situational play of the week (remember Georgia Southern last week?). You have Michigan State off one of the biggest home wins in school history facing a scrappy Air Force option team that is a perfect 4-0 ATS the last 10 years as a 20-point or more dog.
2. South Carolina +17 over GEORGIA. I know the Gamecocks aren't very good this year, but you're giving me 17 points with Spurrier as head coach against a team he's beaten 4 out of the last 5 years? Last year South Carolina was a 19-point dog at Auburn and nearly won the game outright! UGA has too many QB issues to be laying this kind of number.
3. SYRACUSE -5 over Central Michigan. The Cuse beat the Chips last year by 40 on the road. The Orange look improved this year and I still think CMU is a bit weaker. My line on this game is 13.
4. Georgia Tech -2 over NOTRE DAME. This line has already moved 4 points as ND opened favorite. I'm not totally throwing the towel in on the Irish offense with Kizer, but I do think their defense is extremely overrated and Paul Johnson has an axe to grind with ND DC VanGorder. I don't see how the Irish keep pace and we'll see where this total is this week too (possible OVER).
5. ARKANSAS -9.5 over Texas Tech. Look I know Arkansas did us wrong yesterday in a big way but they did have a 30-15 first down edge and out gained Toledo by 200 yards. Now they're laying less than 10 to a team they hammered last year on the road by 21? I'll give the Hogs one more chance.
6. ALABAMA -6.5 over Ole Miss. I didn't want to get involved on the game of the week again, but you're telling me Bama at home, playing with revenge over last year's final minute loss is laying under a TD? I'll take this early gift before it climbs later in the week and becomes a no play (My line is 9).
7. Stanford +9.5 over USC. I know the Trojans have looked awesome, but who have they played? Laying over a TD to a physical Stanford team that plays good defense? Give me the Cardinal.Comment
