Inner Circle---Northwestern The Michigan St Spartans are not shooting well having shot 41% in their last four games of which three were at home. On the other hand, Northwestern is 11-3 at home and will be well prepared for this contest. Bryant McIntosh leads the Wildcats team as a solid at home underdog. Northwestern should be able to stay in this game as defensively, they are holding opponents to 40% shooting. The Spartans are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on the road. Northwestern has four players that can score as all four are averaging double digits. The Wildcats are in the top five in the nation at taking care of the ball. They rarely turn it over which bodes well for this home underdog. Alex Olah is back for Northwestern and with one of the best in the country in McIntosh, they should have the 1-2 punch to possibly pull the upset or at least the easy pointspread cover.

We roll with Denver here as they hook up with Washington. Note that Denver has 17 wins this year and though they are 17-28 for this team to be 17-28 is quite impressive. And, for this team to trade away Lawson frankly was a good move as well. Say what you want about Denver, but the hiring of this coach and coaching staff was a fabulous decision. Malone was a great hire and he has this team trending in the right direction. This team lost to Washington in overtime last year and are even better this year. This team has covered 5 out of their last 6 as well and though we do not like Washington coming off such a big loss to Toronto on the road, which is why this is just a 3-unit selection, we do like that Washington is facing Houston next and might be looking ahead. This is a game that Denver can very well win outright. We have won back to back winning days for +900 which we are pleased with and we seek our 3rd straight winning day as we look to get to +3010 on the season. We love to step-out but our bigger concern is to make sure we produce a winning day.
Both Denver and Washington comes off tough losses, Denver has revenge too from losing to this team in overtime earlier this year, revenge game for Denver, lean on the Nuggets. Atlanta lost to this team earlier this year and has revenge, and Indiana is not playing well frankly, lean on Atlanta to win outright. Lean on the Bulls coming off a tough loss and the Lakers usually have a let down after a decent performance such as their performance against Dallas. Small lean on Milwaukee as well as this team looks to finally get back on track and make a run for the playoffs.

As per this selection Maryland remembers getting shellacked at Iowa last year. This team lost 55-71 as it wasn't very close which is a surprise considering this team went 14-4 in conference play last year as Mark Turgeon's team ended up losing to West Virginia in the round of 32. Maryland has revenge, comes off a loss to Michigan State and has consistently done very well off a loss. For example, this team lost to North Carolina by 8 on the road and then ended up beating St. Francis 96-55, then lost 70-67 to Michigan for which they made amends and beat Ohio State 100-65 at home in their next game and then now comes off a loss to Michigan State. Indeed Iowa has the better power ranking and overall ranking, Note, Iowa is outside the top 90 when it comes to 2-point field goals and an elite 3 point shooting team. But, Maryland is a good defensive team and a top 7 team when it comes to 2-point field goals. Look for Maryland to do well with revenge and coming off a loss here. 3-Unit Play. #773. Take Washington State +13 over Southern Cal (Thursday @ 10:30pm est)
College Ball Research: Lean on Syracuse. They likely get it done here despite Notre Dame having revenge from a 5 point loss from last year. Syracuse off the loss from Virginia and was playing good basketball and Notre Dame off a huge win and hence likely in for a let down. Lean on Maryland over Iowa, revenge from last year's loss. Line jumped big for Michigan State, but Northwestern off a horrible loss, small lean on NW, but no thanks. Small lean on Illinois as they have revenge from losing by a bucket to Ohio State earlier this year. Plus, Ohio State has Maryland on deck. Small lean on Arizona State. Oregon has huge revenge but Arizona off a loss and line jumped quickly and decent public fade on Oregon, no thanks. UCLA with revenge but line going the other way as Washington is playing great basketball right now. Lean on Washington State as this team needs to bounce-back and though USC off back to back losses, still lean on Washington State.
