#735 Oklahoma -5.0(-110) Greek vs #736 Texas Tech single-dime bet

Analysis:We find out how good the Sooners are tonight. Lost the revenge game in Norman vs. Kansas. Lost by 11 points two games before that at K-State. Need a win to stop the bleeding and they run into Tubby Smith's Red Raiders who have won 3 of last four. Both home wins in Lubbock have been by two points apiece over Okie State ยก & Iowa State and they come off an 18 point thumping of Baylor 86-68 in Waco.
I'm taking a shot at Kruger's Sooners because I feel Buddy Heild is too good to have bad back to back games. Graham of Kansas shut him out first half. I doubt Tech has that type of defender to slow him down tonight. I feel him getting 27 plus and Woodard, Spangler and Cousins doing their scoring as well. If Tech wins this game they could still get an at large bid if they are able to get to ( 9-9 ) in the Big 12. I'll go with the Sooners by 8-14 points in this one!

UPDATE- 8:17 AM PT- The line has gone down to minus 4 as Tubby's boys getting some action this morning...I expect the Red Raiders to be up for the game and the crowd to be in to it big time but I'll back my play as this is gut check time for Lon Kruger's Sooners...are they a one or two seed or will they fall off...if they lose this one they will be in trouble with roadies in West Virginia & Texas looming.....should still be a gap between the Sooners and the Red Raiders

      3-Unit Play. Take #755 Houston (-5) over Tulane (8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17)

Houston has been a big surprise in the AAC this year and they want to keep working their way up the standings. They have won five of their last six games and have key wins over Tulsa, SMU and Memphis. Kelvin Sampson's team is going to continue to improve and they could get leading scorer Rob Gray back from injury for tonight's game. Tulane has won back-to-back games for just the second time this year. This team is just 10-16 on the season and just 3-10 in league play. Each of their last two wins have come in overtime and they are just 1-5 SU in league home games. Tulane is still without its starting center and right now this team doesn't have a lot of options off the bench. Houston has too much firepower in this one and should get another W.

      3-Unit Play. Take #703 Iowa (-10) over Penn State (7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17)

These are two teams going in opposite directions. Penn State has lost seven of its last nine games both SU and ATS. Iowa has won eight of 10. These two met in Ames on Feb. 3 and Iowa won by 24, easily covering a 15-point spread. The Hawkeyes are 14-6 ATS in their last 20 Big Ten games and are one of the top teams in the country right now. Iowa has won here in Penn State each of the past three years and I don't think it will be any different this time around.

      3-Unit Play. Take #744 North Carolina (-6.5) over Duke (9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17)

I think that this one is all North Carolina. The Tar Heels are coming off their best game of the season in a big win over Pittsburgh by 21. You know they will want to do the same thing to their hated rivals. North Carolina is a much deeper and much more experienced team than the Blue Devils and that will pay off in a big way in front of their home crowd. Duke is just 4-6 ATS in their 10 road games and I think they are going to struggle again in Chapel Hill. The Blue Devils are 2-5 ATS in their last seven on the road after three straight home games. They have had a strong homestand but tonight is not going to go well for Coach K's boys.

          3-Unit Play. Take #54 NY Rangers (-105) over Chicago (8:05) p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17)

The NY Rangers may be seeing a boost to their team tonight as Captain Ryan McDonagh should return against the visiting Blackhawks. The absence of McDonagh hasn't slowed the Rangers down though; they are now 7-2-1 over their last ten games with only one loss in February. NY has also been playing very stingy in the Garden as of late as well. They are 8-0-2 in their last ten at home and the team seems to be finding their stride at the right point in the season. The Blackhawks on the other hand haven't looked as dominant over their last ten and have only 5 wins to show for it. Their inconsistent play over the last 4 games has presented some areas of concern and I think the Rangers will take advantage of this tonight. History has also been on the Rangers side in this match-up where NY has won 6 of the last 7 contests. With NY on an upswing I give the edge to the better goal tender and home ice tonight.

            BIG AL
ON FIRE: BIG AL's RED-HOT NCAA HOOPS HIGH ROLLER! Game Date/Time: 2/17/16 7:00 pm
            Our Selection: Boston College
            Opponent: Clemson Line: +16.5
            Rating: 3*
Analysis: At 7 pm, our selection is on the Boston College Eagles + the points over Clemson. Boston College comes into tonight's game on a 12-game losing streak, while Clemson has won eight of its previous 12 games. But we'll side with the huge underdog on this Wednesday. One of the things I like about this matchup is that Clemson is a relatively low-scoring club (69.5 ppg), and Boston College doesn't give up a heckuva lot of points (69.7). Those qualities should go a long way toward enabling the Eagles to cover this big number. Indeed, over the past 18 years, NCAA underdogs of +15 or more points, off a conference loss (and 2+ losses, overall) have covered 68% vs. conference foes off a conference win, if our underdog gives up less than 70 ppg, and its opponent scores less than 70 ppg. That doesn't bode well for the Tigers tonight. Moreover, BC is a super 94-51-8 ATS away from home since 1990 off a pointspread defeat. And it also falls into 106-50 and 174-82 ATS systems of mine that play on certain teams off losses. Take the Eagles.

                COLLEGE BASKETBALL PLAY

3 Unit Play. Take #743 Under 162.5 Duke at North Carolina (9:00p.m., Wednesday February 17 ESPN)
I know the last 3 meetings between these hated rivals have gone over but WOW to see this high total was a bit shocked. Both teams have been cashing UNDER tickets as of late and UNC has gone 4-straight games cashing in on the UNDER. Duke last 5 games 4 of them have gone UNDER and I see the Blue Devils struggling tonight in Chapel Hill.

4 Unit Play. Take #763 Over 151 Colorado at USC (10:00p.m., Wednesday February 17 ESPNU)
I really thought this total would have been in the high 150's tonight in SoCal! USC at home is almost automatic 80 plus points and if they control the tempo tonight at home this game will be a track meet. Colorado comes to SoCal winners of 2-straight conference home games which they scored 80 points in both and tonight the Buffs will need all their offense to hold on to the high power Trojans offense. Last 5 meetings all 5 of them have gone over and USC is 9-4 O/U against PAC12 teams

                  Wednesday February 17th 2016-

3 Unit Play Take #55 Minnesota -120 over Calgary (10:05pm est):

The early money has poured in here on Minnesota as they opened a small underdog and are now favored. They've outshot their last 5 foes and 7 of their last 8 overall despite winning just one of those games. They ended a long 8 game skid last game in interim head coach John Torchetti's debut game. That win should give this team some much needed confidence. Calgary is missing a few guys right now and their losses have shown up as the Flames have allowed 5 goals per game in their last 3 contests.

Take Minnesota here. Big NBA 2nd half of the season starts up later this week. Keep in mind this is where I won my first 6 plays last year, right after the All-Star break and I will be looking to do the same thing here this year as well. Join in the winning!!!

                  Thank you and good luck,

                  Jason Sharpe
