Portland hosted Houston in the Rose Quarter already this month and the Blazers won 116-103 and I'm shocked to see this number drop overnight. Houston has lost 4 out of 5 games and their defense has been their Achilles Heal all season long. Portland has rattled off 6-Straight winners and their back-court has been outstanding and I see the home team Blazers winning tonight. Houston is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the Blazers are 7-1 ATS after allowing 100 points or more in their last game

7 Unit Play Take #59 New York Rangers +110 over St. Louis (8;05pm est):

The New York Rangers are the better of these two teams despite having fewer points on the season overall as they have the better goal differential. The Rangers ran into a buzzsaw last game facing an angry revenge minded New Jersey squad who was was also looking to end a 3 game losing streak. Coming off a loss last game and playing poorly should make the Rangers focused and motivated for this one while most importantly undervalued at this price.

The Blues have won a ton of close games this year catching their share of breaks along the way. They loss their starting goalie Brain Elliot last game to an injury and his loss is huge especially when added into the fact tonight's starter Jake Allen who hasn't started in a game for them in nearly two months. The Blues are also missing a few other key guys and are an overvalued team these days.

Take the New York Rangers here. Big CBB day on Saturday that you don't want to miss out on as I've crushed it on this day of the week winning 5 of the last 6 Saturday's. There's a ton of mistakes in the CBB betting markets that day and I will have lots of plays including a huge 7 unit selection as well all for the same one day low price as always.

4-Unit Play. Take #57 Arizona (+160) over Florida (7:35) p.m., Thursday, Feb. 25)

Florida may be getting back Gudbranson and Barkov but they will be without Huberdeau due to an injury tonight against the Coyotes. This could be a blow to the Panthers considering they have only scored 9 goals in their last five games. The high flying offense that was dominant a month ago has subdued and Huberdeaus absence will hinder it even more. Robert Luongo made 29 saves against the Jets the other night but prior to this he was allowing at least 3 goals in each of his previous five starts. The Coyotes are on a three game skid but haven't been playing bad over the last five games. They beat the Canadians (6-2), Stars (6-3) and lost to the Blues (6-4), Caps (2-3) and Lightning (1-2). Besides the Blues game they have played really well and are improving defensively. With Luongo underperforming and the value in this pick take the Coyotes tonight in Florida.

5-Unit Play. Take #66 Calgary (+125) over NY Islanders (9:05) p.m., Thursday, Feb. 25)

The Flames sit in second to last place in the Pacific division and are third to last in the West. The Flames were expected to do some great things this season after they reached the playoffs last year but we need to remember that this squad is extremely young and it has shown over the course of the season. Even with that being said I still like the Flames at home tonight. They are a different team in that building and are fueled by the home fans. With the Islanders coming off a huge win in Minnesota the other night everyone should be looking for that let down game tonight. I like the value on the home side tonight and think Calgary will come to play tonight.

My spreadsheet has Seton Hall winning this game by a final score of 85-68. The key components in this matchup are recent form, recent head-to-head results, and home court advantage
Providence is struggling and it was bound to happen. They have two players on their team and the rest are simply very average college basketball players. Kris Dunn is the main guy and he has been a bit weak this week with a stomach bug. Ben Betil is the inside force and he is more of a rebounder and a guy that gets garbage buckets with hustle. Simply put: they can’t do it all for the entire season and that has started to show as of late. In fact, Providence has lost 4 out of 5 games with their only win being a 3-point victory at home over Georgetown.
Seton Hall has won two road games in a row after losing at home to Butler. This is their first home game since February 10th and the place will be electric. The Butler loss is their only loss in their last six games. They have played good, solid team basketball all year long and that will be the key to winning tonight. They beat Providence 81-72 at Providence back on January 16th and this line has a lot of built-in value.
Team basketball will almost always win out over a team with 1 or 2 really good players. I love the “Team” to win big tonight.

If you remember the last time these two teams met earlier this year it was an absolute beat down for Indiana in one of the most lopsided events in this series. It was an embarrassing loss for Illinois and it is only a matter of time before Groce gets fired as his tenure at Illinois has been lackluster and moving from the mid major to Illinois has been a disappointment to say the least. At least with Weber this team was hanging tough in the Big10 and now they are on the bottom rung and the administration knows it. The final score was 103-69 as it went to 172 points and Indiana just won every phase of the game. Our models are always picking up trends and it noticed that whenever Illinois is motivated for a game, let it be revenge or off a bad loss, they lean more towards the under and especially at home. Their calling card is their defense as they are a top 125 defensive team. For example this team lost 77-65 to Iowa (142), or 63-55 to Wisconsin another loss (118) or loss to Michigan 78-68 (146) and even losing at Wisconsin 69-60 (129) which shows that the way this team plays an "active underdog" role is to go to the under. This is why this total is so low. Illinois has massive revenge on primetime television and is going to show up in a huge way - and by defensively. The common joe will think wow 172 points were scored last time so that will happen again here. But, it's never that easy and the reason why we sit at the brink of $43,000 since 2013 in nba/cbb combined is that it works in waves. Look for their to be solid defense here and this game to hit around the low 140's this evening.



3-Unit Play. #701. Take Over 223.5 Orlando vs. Golden State (Thursday @ 7:05pm est)
We roll with the Over here between these two teams in what should be a high scoring affair. We think that Golden State is likely to continue play at their high level but whenever the line is around the 7 to 9 line, Golden State has proved that it can be a tough match up for them and the other team does very well in scoring its fair share of points and therefore, causing them to be an active underdog and pushing the game over. Note, that Orlando is only backed by 24% of the public but this is the type of game that is likely to give Golden State plenty of issues. Orlando is a young team, very athletic and frankly does not care as they have nothing to lose as they are continuing to rebuild. It's the teams that have young talent that give Golden State trouble (i.e. Portland, Milwaukee, two of their losses). The Magic have scored a 100 points in 3 of their last 4 games and we are confident they likely do that here and Golden State will have to keep pace and exceed their pace in the 3rd quarter. Look for this game to reach into the 230's this evening.
