                3-Unit Play. Take #879 Maryland (+5.5) over Indiana (4:30 p.m., Sunday, March 6)

I see Maryland winning this game outright. Indiana has already clinched the Big10 Title, and although it is senior night, they will let down a bit and Maryland will steal this game. This game is much bigger for Maryland than it is for Indiana. The Terps need a win to secure a top-4 seed and a double bye in the Big10 tournament. Yes, the Terps struggle on the road S.U. versus ranked opponents, but they won't today. Maryland may be a bad S.U. bet when on the road versus good teams, but they actually have done a solid job at the betting window. The Terps are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 road games versus a team with a home winning percentage of .600 or better. Indiana is 10-25 ATS in their last 35 games following an ATS win. Take the road dog in this matchup.

                  4 Unit Play. Take #868 Iona -1.5 over Siena (7:00p.m., Sunday March 6 ESPN2)
Iona comes into this MAAC Conference Semifinals game red hot winning 6-straight and 4 of those wins were by double-digits. Siena played yesterday beating Manhattan 89-76 and tonight in Albany, New York I see the Gaels winning this game a head to the championship Monday night. Siena is 1-4 ATS against a team with a SU record and the Iona Gaels are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games.

                    (3% play) PURDUE -6 (vs. Wisconsin) - 7:30 pm ET (write-in) (BTN) #882

Wisconsin has been a major surprise this season as the Badgers come into tonight’s game at Purdue with a 20-10 SU record. Wisconsin was supposed to be in a rebuilding season after making the Final Four last season, and head coach Bo Ryan retiring, but the team has caught many of their opponents off guard. Wisconsin is on a 4-game winning streak, and they are 11-1 SU during their past twelve games. But eight of those opponents were bad teams. Wisconsin is in a poor scheduling and situational spot for tonight’s game at Purdue as the Badgers will be playing a back-to-back road set for just the second time in conference play this season. The Badgers lost 69-57 at Michigan State in their lone try in this situation. This will also be Wisconsin’s fifth road game in their last seven games overall. Wisconsin lost to Purdue at home earlier this season; the Boilermakers held the Badgers to just 38.6% (22-57) shooting from the field and 29.4% (5-17) shooting from three-point land. That game was on Wisconsin’s strong home court, so it’s hard to imagine their offense being any better with the rematch being on the Boilermakers’ home court.

Purdue is 23-7 SU on the season, including a 16-1 SU mark at home where they own an excellent +18.5 point differential. The Boilermakers play outstanding defense, especially on their home court where they only give up 63.3 points per game on 37.7% shooting from the field and 31.8% shooting from three-point land. Purdue’s offense has been terrific at home where they are averaging 81.8 points per game on 47.3% shooting from the field and 36.7% shooting from three-point land. Purdue is playing their final home game of the season, so they will bring their best effort, especially since they still have something to play for. “We want to get a top-four seed, and we can control that by winning the game,” P.J. Thompson said. “If we can get Wisconsin twice, I think that would be huge, with the win coming off Nebraska, and finishing out for the seniors.” Purdue is simply the superior team, so we’ll lay the points with the Boilermakers in this home game on Sunday night.

                    Play PURDUE (-) as a 3% play.

                                K Thompson | CBB Sides - Sunday, Mar 6 2016 2:00PM

#851 Northern Iowa -1.0(-106) Pinnacle vs #852 Evansville double-dime bet

Analysis:Always tough to beat good team three times in a season but I'll go with the Panthers in this one. A tough grind yesterday with Wichita State should have Northern Iowa in a close game mentality mind set. Evansville breezed by Indiana State by 26 points and should be rested but now need to value every possession vs. Panther team that should be more efficient with basketball.
The combo of DJ Balentine & Egidijus Mockevicius is the best in Purple Aces history. Balentine is the leading scorer in the ™ MVC while Mockevicius is the top rebounder in the country at ( 13.8 ) rebounds per game.
I love both these teams but the player I like even more than Balentine & Mockevicius is Wes Washpun of Northern Iowa. This guy has a 43 inch vertical jump...something I couldn't do off a trampoline. His defensive prowess is solid. For Northern Iowa to win they have to take care of the ball and they have to shoot it well. They need to collectively crash the boards and not let Mockevicius dominate the paint on both sides of the court. Role players are key as well in this game.
Jeremy Morgan made the Big three to knock out Wichita State yesterday and will need to hit those shots again today. Matt Bohannon has to also contribute from the outside and Paul Jesperson needs to hit outside shots to bring Mockevicius away from the glass. Klint Carlson and Wyatt Lohaus ( Brad's son ) also need to be a spark off the bench for UNI to get the trifecta over the Purple Aces. It was early in the year when Northern Iowa beat North Carolina but that's the game they must play today. washpun needs to take his man to the rack and also hit a few open three's. He's one of the best lock down defenders in the country and needs to come up Big. I'm betting on him to lead the way! Northern Iowa by 4-12 points in this one!!
I expect this line to close at UNI minus 3
