#852 Evansville 2.0(-110) Pinnacle vs #851 Northern Iowa double-dime bet

Analysis: These teams know each other even better than one might think - both of them are super-experienced, so it's not just the MVC play this year, but for four years. Both games this season were low scoring, both decided by a possession, and both won by Northern Iowa. Of course it's tough to beat a team three times, but how much energy did NI expend both physically (in overtime) and mentally beating Witchita State yesterday - likely a lot. There are some matchup issues here, IMO, not to mention that NI COULD get an at large bid even if they lost based on some early season wins over North Carolina and Iowa State. Evansville can't say that - so this is their chance to dance. We know NI is going to try to play slow and simply shoot three's - E'ville had one of the better three point defenses this season, percentage-wise. Neither team is a great offensive rebounding team, and if/when NI misses, Evansville WILL run, so perhaps some fast-break points there. E'ville also gets to the line a LOT and shoots 73% from it - whereas as NI does shoot well from the stripe, they just don't get there enough. And, in Conference play - E'ville actually has a more efficient defense, and the #1 ranked efficient offense - so, wrong team favored here base on historic perception rather than what's happening today.

In other games as of this morning - I do like Detroit to beat Wright State and may add. Tough to back Detroits' lack of defense, but the teams that give Wright Sta Ïte trouble have all be up tempo teams, which Detroit is. I'm inclined to take Milwaukee, as they are the better team and not unlike Northern Iowa some of the line is based on Green Bays' PAST - but I hate laying -3. We'll see what happens, or a smaller ML play there, IMO. There a fair bit of money actually on Tulane. I don't know why at this points, but there are enough tickets to almost follow that one blind, but smaller. We'll see what else we can find as things progress.
