3-Unit Play. Take #730 Dayton (-1.5) over St. Joesephs (1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 13)

This Dayton squad is a bit underrated. This is another short line that they should have no difficulty covering. Yes, St. Joes is a solid team, but Dayton is just plain better. St. Joes comes in to this game losers of two of their last three games and has failed to cover three of their last four games. The Hawks won the previous meeting 79-70 in St. Joes, but they shot over 45 percent from the floor against a solid defensive ball club like the Flyers. That won't happen again today. Dayton, who is a decent shooting three point team (nearly 36 percent), only made 8-31 threes in that game, which won't happen today. Take the Flyers here as they advance to the A10 Finals tomorrow.

5-Unit Play. Take #743 Seton Hall (+7) over Villanova (5:30 p.m., Saturday, March 13)

This game will be closer than the line suggests. I see Villanova squeaking out a victory in the game, but the Hall will cover. Villanova ran away from Seton Hall earlier in the year, but that was on their home floor. On this neutral court, the Wildcats won't be as dominant. Seton Hall has made the Big East Tournament Finals for the first time in 23 years, and that means something to the players and the program. Look for the Pirates to play with an emotion that you haven't seen out of them all year. The Wildcats are playing for a number one seed in the tournament, but they know at worst they will be a two seed with a loss. This game means more to Seton Hall than it does for Villanova and it will show. Seton Hall is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games versus teams with winning percentages over .600 and they are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between the two teams.

Take West Virginia ATS as my 4-Unit CBB Smash for Saturday. This pick falls into one of my top CBB systems and I have West Virginia winning this game outright just like they did against the Jayhawks back on January 12. In the Mountaineers loss against the Jayhawks on February 9, they took 18 more shots than Kansas but had a very bad shooting night knocking down just 37.3% from the field and 25% from beyond the arc, while the Jayhawks shot 56.1% and 41.2% from beyond the arc. My point here is that West Virginia had a very bad shooting night on the road to Kansas and that will not happen twice. The Mountaineers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games after a win and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 conference games. The Mountaineers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against the Jayhawks and the underdog is also 4-1 ATS in the last 5 games played between these two teams. Play West Virginia ATS with confidence as this is a very bad match-up for a good Kansas team.

Take LSU ATS as my 4-Unit CBB Smash for Saturday. This pick falls into one of my top CBB systems and I have LSU winning a close game here Saturday. The last time these two teams met was at LSU on February 13 and the Aggies lost that game despite shooting 55.8% and 35% from beyond the arc, even though LSU shot just 42.1% as a team and 27.8% from beyond the arc. LSU had 4 players in double digits in that game and I look for a huge game from Simmons today. The Aggies are just 8-17 ATS in their last 25 neutral site games and they have too many match-up problems against this Tigers team today. Play LSU ATS with confidence.

The Tar Heels will absolutely dominate the offensive boards here tonight against one of the worst offensive rebounding teams in the country who are ranked 309th. The Tar Heels are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall and the favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 games played between these two teams. The Tar Heels are the 7th best offensive rebounding team in the country and also move the ball around a lot better than the Hokies. Play North Carolina ATS with confidence.

UConn has a lot of future NBA players and one thing that you can’t question is their heart. This Huskies team has no quit in them as you saw yesterday. This team might be a little tired from all of that overtime yesterday, but they have found the scoring touch going against a Temple team that can be beaten if you can get you fair share of points. Cincinnati is an elite defense and UConn shredded them yesterday. I expect another shootout with UConn cashing in and being almost automatic from the foul line is huge in these spots. Take UConn

What a great win last night for Seton Hall. This is a young team made up of all second year players and to come this far just shows how talented they are. If this team can get hot shooting there is no doubt they can win this game, but it is going to be hard for them to turn around after beating Xavier and to get another win less than 24 hours later. This is why experience means so much in this game. Nova has it all and can really frustrate teams once they get the lead. Take Villanova.

Bill Self wins Big 12 Titles. We can leave the write up at that because there is no way I am going to wager against the guy in these spots. Self has earned the right to be considered one of the greatest coaches in this era and Kansas themselves as a team has very little flaws. This should be a good one, but I expect the game and the late calls to go the way of the Jayhawks. Take Kansas.

In my opinion Virginia is the best team in the country. UNC is getting a lot of credit because they just beat up on vulnerable teams. UVA has beaten 7 ranked teams this year. In many of those wins they made their opponents look like high school teams. Not only does this team have the best defense in the nation, but they make their foul shots and hit their three pointers. UNC is not so great in those spots. I only see teams that hit double digit three pointers having a shot. Take Virginia.
