3-Unit Play. #623. Take Over 158 Georgia vs. Belmont (Wednesday @ 7pm est)
We roll with these 2 selections here the first of which is the Georgia vs. Belmont game where we will take the Over as we feel that this is a selection similar to the South Carolina State Over that we took when they played Grand Canyon. We feel that Belmont can be a good active underdog and push Georgia and likely send this game over and notice that the line is not very high for Georgia as the SEC school despite coming off a nice performance against Kentucky to their credit. Belmont is a top 45 offensive team, scored 74 points on Arizona State, 81 points on BYU and beat Marquette 83-80 on the road as well. With Georgia likely being pushed to the limit in the opening round, we like the Over here this evening.
4-Unit Play. #668. Take Columbia -12.5 over Norfolk State (Wednesday @ 7pm est)
Let's not be afraid and take Columbia here as they hook up against Norfolk State. Columbia lost to a very good Tournament bound Yale team 71-55 in their last game and this is a team that has won 21 games this year to their credit and it is due to their top 50 offense. This team is top 40 in effective field goal percentage, top 40 in turnover percentage and hung in there against Kansas State losing 71-81 and losing to Northwestern by just 3 points in overtime on the road as well as only losing to St. Joseph's at home by 2 points who is also a tournament bound team. We roll with Columbia as they are indeed the better team with a competent offense, Norfolk State is outside the top 300 in defense and outside the top 250 in 2 point field goals as well as that will likely be important in a half-court type of contest which this could turn into. We like Columbia to get it done as this is a decent public fade to boot.
