713 SAN / 714 UTA OVER 184.5 PinnacleAnalysis: Sure on paper, this low total seems right where it should be. San Antonio is the best defensive team in the NBA and Utah is giving up less than 89 points per game during its last 13 matchups.


The reality, though, is these two teams should play much higher than this total.


San Antonio has reached triple digits in five of its last six games. The Spurs have averaged 112.3 points in three games against Utah this season. Clearly, the Spurs know how to put up points against the Jazz.Yet the oddsmaker is calling for the Spurs to score around 94 points, which would be a whopping 18.3 points less than in the past three meetings.


Now there's a chance the Spurs hold out starters here, or at least reduce their minutes. I'm fine with that, too, because that would ensure a looser flow plus San Antonio may have the strongest bench in the league.


Utah's firepower isn't going to remind anyone of Golden State's, but the Jazz have some underrated scorers with Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Rodney Hood quickly coming to mind.


The Jazz should be extremely fired-up, too, in a triple revenge situation and digging hard for a playoff spot. The Jazz don't play again until Friday so their starters should play big minutes. Utah is averaging 104.5 points during its last four games.

This is a Philly team that lost by just 5 points the last time these two teams met and have a lot of revenge coming in. They are not concerned about the ping pong balls at this point given that they are securely the worst team and this is a great game they can in fact win against a New Orleans team that is banged up and struggling. Philly will be a team doing what the Jazz have done this year as long as they can stay healthy next year. This is a team that has a new front office in tact and have covered against the likes of Golden State, Portland, Denver and Charlotte all on the road which speaks volumes. We like Philadelphia to hang tough here today and likely win by 7 points or more this evening.

We roll with Miami as they have a good deal of bounce-back motivation after a terrible game in their last game losing by 17 to Portland 93-110 on the road. But, don't hold that against them they were finishing up their road trip and wanted to get back home and were coming off a big win against the Kings on the road. This is a team that lost by just 1 point to Detroit back in December and has a great deal of revenge here and despite Detroit playing well, with Miami with revenge and on a double-digit loss looking for a bounce-back, this team will likely get it done tonight in a hard fought game. We have them by 8 points this evening.
