Last 7 meetings this year between these two teams 6 of them have gone OVER and May 1 both starters tonight faced off and the Giants won in Citi Field 6-1. With a low total and plus money attached to the juice I see this game going over and the bats of the Giants win this game and we cash the over. San Francisco is 4-1 O/U in their last 5 playoff road games and the Mets are 7-1 O/U against a left-handed starter. Last 5 meetings in New York all 5 of them have gone OVER and tonight this trend continues.

I know this number is absurdly low and one big hit or one big inning will sink this. But these two pitchers are so dominating that I think this one looks like a 1-0 or 2-1 affair. They are two of the best in baseball and I think the ump will have a wide zone. Madison Bumgarner's postseason numbers are pretty ridiculous. And Noah Syndergaard is a just an animal. The over has been the play when these two teams meet. But I think most of those trends are set for a regression.

The San Francisco Giants will look for a win in the NL Wildcard game and a date with the Chicago Cubs when they hit the road to take on the Mets at Citi Field in New York, NY on Wednesday night. Madison Bumgarner (15-9, 2.74 ERA, 1.02 WHIP) will get the start for the Giants and he will be opposed by Noah Syndergaard (14-9, 2.60 ERA, 1.15 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Mets. San Francisco has posted a 4-1 record in their last five games where they faced a right handed starter and they have gone an excellent 7-3 in Bumgarner's last ten starts where he faced a team from the NL East. They are also riding a four game win streak coming into the game tonight and they have won nine of their last twelve playoff road games. The Mets, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 7-17 in their last 24 games where they faced a team from the NL West Division and they have lost five of Syndergaard's last seven home starts. Throw in the fact that the Giants are a perfect 4-0 in their last four games at Citi Field when Bumgarner was on the hill and we'll take them here at the pickem or so price to get the road win in New York on Wednesday night.
