3-Unit Play. #332. Take Under 47.5 Connecticut vs. Cincinnati (Saturday @ 11:30am est)

Cincinnati is still very banged up on offense and that showed in their results of late. After all, we did take South Florida last week as our 7-Unit Play against them and it won with relative ease. Per this selection, this team is a heavy public favorite as they face Connecticut on the road. But, it is Connecticut who has a great shot at winning outright. This game will likely go in Connecticut's pace. Note, that Connecticut just comes off a loss to Houston where they gave up 42 points and had just given up 31 points to Syracuse prior to that. This is a team that has given up 73 points in their last 3 games after having given up just 59 points in their first two games. Look for Connecticut to finally bounce-back here at home with a solid defensive performance and look for Cincinnati to play much better on defense after giving up 45 points to South Florida.



3-Unit Play. #356. Take Under 51 Navy/Houston Under (Saturday @ 3pm est)

Houston has a fantastic offense and there is no doubting that. But, they run into a Navy team who understands they don't have the talent that Houston does, but they do have a system that take time off the clock. They will likely run the ball to no end here and keep the Houston offense off the field. Each first down this team gets will be a victory because it's less time the Houston offense is on the field and consequently their own defense can catch their breath. Navy comes off a loss to Air Force and will be focused for this game as they were likely looking ahead to it anyway which is why they lost by two touchdowns in their last game. Houston has given up just 33 points in their last 4 games and consequently we like a drag out contest here that goes under the posted total.



6-Unit Play. #378. Take Texas A&M -6.5 over Tennessee (Saturday @ 3:30pm est)

This is a game that Texas A&M could embarrass Tennessee. Sure, Tennessee comes off a hail may performance against Georgia and it was exciting and maybe there is an Angel that is watching over this team into destiny. Or, maybe Tennessee just got lucky and they are about to face a Texas A&M team that is playing with a chip on its shoulder given the transfers this off-season and are simply routing squads. This is the 7th ranked team in the country who played horribly at South Carolina and won in a non-convincing fashion after being favored by 17.5 points. This is a Tennessee team that has been up and down all year and they will have to be at the top of their game here away from home and if they had issues against a fickle Georgia team, they are going to have some serious issues here as they face Texas A&M who is solid on both sides of the ball. Remember, A&M beat Auburn on the road by a wider margin than Clemson did this year by 13 points, they beat Arkansas by 3 touchdowns at home and come off a poor performance against South Carolina. We like Texas A&M who was likely looking ahead to this game in their last game to really take it to Tennessee from start to finish and win by double-digits.



3-Unit Play. #401. Take Alabama -14 over Arkansas (Saturday @ 7pm est)

Though the public likes Arkansas here we like Alabama. Note the Crimson Tide did not play their best football against Kentucky and you can tell that in Nick Saban's press conference. He was not overly impressed with his team and he understands that this team needs to bring their best game into a top 20 Arkansas team that loves playing physical football. But, Alabama's offense is quite competent and if Arkansas had its issues with Texas A&M's offense, they will have their issues with an Alabama offense that has a bona fide starter and who enjoys spreading the ball out under Kiffin. You have to give Saban credit for willing to change his mantra and open up the offense to keep up with the times (something that Bear Bryant didn't even do until much later). We like Alabama as the decent public fade here.
