    NCAA-B | Michigan vs Wisconsin
    Play on: Wisconsin -1½ -110 at 5dimes

I'm playing on WISCONSIN 10* GAME OF WEEK. Obviously, both teams have played very well to get this far. I like what the Badgers have done more though. Michigan beat Minnesota by an 84-77 margin yesterday. However, Wisconsin destroyed Northwestern by a 76-48 margin. Prior to that, the Badgers beat Indiana by double-digits on Friday. Michigan, on the other hand, needed OT to get past Purdue. Playing those extra OT minutes - and having to fight harder than the Badgers - combined with the fact that the Wolverines also had to play Thursday while Wisconsin had that day off, figures to catch up with the Wolverines here. The Badgers have been the much stronger defensive team all season. They allowed 61.5 ppg, opposing teams shooting 40.7% from the field. On the other hand, Michigan allowed 65.5 ppg, opposing teams shooting 46.5%. Look for the Badgers' fresher legs and superior defense to be the difference.

    NBA | Bulls vs Celtics
    Play on: OVER 208½ -110

I'm playing on Chicago and Boston to finish OVER the total 10* BLUE CHIP. Both teams check in on 'under' streaks. Those results have helped to keep this O/U line lower than what it could easily have been. I expect it to prove to be too low. Keep in mind that the O/U line was 214 when these teams met a few weeks ago. True, that one stayed below the total, finishing with "only" 207 points. Note that game could have easily been higher-scoring, as only two points were scored in the final 1:20. The Bulls gave up 115 last time out. The Celtics gave up 119. This season's games here at Boston are averaging 215.2 points. All things considered, the number could easily be higher. Expect plenty of points.

          Game Analysis

          Take Cincinnati (#891)

Mick Cronin has been setting up his rotation for Sunday since the Bearcats blowout win over Tulsa on Friday. Cronin emptied his bench in the second half of that game – nobody on the roster reached 30 minutes of court time.

In yesterday’s semi-final matchup, Cronin did it again, with only two starters reaching the 30 minute mark against UConn. It’s surely worth noting that the Bearcats shot only 38% from the floor against the Huskies, yet still won the game by a double digit margin.

That stands in sharp contrast with the SMU portion of this equation. Tim Jankovich has a roster built for a deep NCAA tournament run – the Mustangs top six players are extremely talented and remarkably versatile. But in a short turnaround setting like this one, SMU’s complete and utter lack of depth is a real problem. Only those top six players saw the court yesterday and they combined for the 188 of SMU’s 200 minutes in Friday’s huge blown lead game against East Carolina.

Adrenaline tends to run out by the finale in these ‘three games in three days’ settings. SMU has shot 55% from the floor and 47% from three point range in their last five games, including 53% shooting overall in this tournament. Now they’re facing a defensive juggernaut. Cinci has allowed only 38% shooting for the season, ranked #6 in the country in defensive efficiency. Don’t expect those SMU shots to fall at anywhere near the same rate today….. Take Cinci.

              Game Analysis

SMU and Cincinnati vie for the AAC title on Sunday in Connecticut. The Mustangs havent played their best during this tourney so far so the motivation is there for that to continue. They may not be the deepest team, but the guys they play are pretty solid led by Semi Ojeleye. SMU beat Cincy at home 60-51 back on February 12th holding them to 34.7% shooting from the field. The Bearcats offense isn't that good from the field although they dominate teams on the boards which helps bridge the gap. SMU lost at Cincy 66-64 back in early January and that was the third worst defensive performance in terms of opposing field goal percentage. I really don't think that will happen again and I'll take the better team with the short number in this one. SMU will be a threat in the tourney.

This game should be in range! The algorithms have the Bulls pulling the victory. The total hasn't shifted, but its a good play here.

NBA TV Blowout ATS Rout - Rickenbach NBA Game #873 Sunday 10* Top Play Miami Heat (+) @ Indiana Pacers @ 6:05 ET - The Pacers are a popular choice today and that's understandable based on the situation involving Miami. On the surface, Indiana looks like the play. But when you look further into this situation, the Heat won so easily versus Toronto yesterday that key players were able to get significant rest and did not have to log big minutes. Also, Miami had two days off prior to that win over the Raptors. The Heat also have the added benefit of having two days off after this game. In other words, the situation is not nearly as bad as a "normal" back to back and, by the way, Miami has gone 10-2 ATS this season when playing the 2nd game of a back to back. Also, the Heat come into this one having won and covered 4 straight games and, of course, Miami has been one of the hottest teams in the league now for quite some time. They're taking on an Indiana team they've beaten 4 straight times and one of their two losses against the Pacers that preceded that run came by just three points. Also, Indiana comes into this game having lost 10 of their last 14 games. The Pacers are off of a loss to the division rival Bucks and are only 5-8 ATS when off of a divisional game this season. The Heat are 8-0 SU and ATS in their last 8 games played against teams with a winning record and they'll stay red hot here. 10* Top Play MIAMI

Total Annihilation - Rickenbach NBA Game #875 Sunday 8* OVER 221 in Brooklyn Nets vs New York Knicks @ 6:05 ET - Another horrific 4th quarter did in the Knicks yesterday and they have now stayed under the total in 2 straight games and 8 of their last 9. Whether or not New York's losing ways continue Sunday, at least their scoring woes should be helped by facing the worst defense in the league. Brooklyn is allowing 114 points per game on the season and is happy to be back home after a long road trip. The over is 6-3 this season in Brooklyn home games with a posted total of 220 points or more. The Knicks are 9-3 to the over this season when playing the 2nd game of a back to back. Also, New York is 4-1 to the over when they enter a game having played each of their 3 prior games on the road. Look for a loosely played affair with plenty of offensive fireworks as there is truly no reason for defensive intensity given the current state of these two teams at this point in the season. Keep in mind this is on top of the fact that both these teams play horrible defense even when they are "trying". More of the same here! 8* OVER the total in Brooklyn

Sunday, we'll grab the home value on the Indiana Pacers. The red-hot Miami Heat continue to gain confidence and close in on playoff positioning. After a big win yesterday against the Toronto Raptors in which the Heat were able to rest their starters in the fourth period. Still, look for the Pacers to control tempo and gain a home win tonight.

Edges - Pacers: 11-1 ATS home on Sundays; and 10-4 ATS at home with rest off a double-digit loss this season… Heat: 1-10 SU and 2-9 ATS as a visitor in this series, including 0-5 SUATS last five games. Withe the double revenge Pacers off a 14-point loss and in the invading Heat off a 15-point home revenge win last night with another revenger on deck with New Orleans, we recommend a 10* play on Indiana. Thank you and good luck as always.

I'm playing on INDIANA 10* MAIN EVENT. The Heat have been on an impressive run and they won again yesterday. I expect their roll to come to an end today though. While the Heat were busy playing Toronto yesterday, the Pacers were resting, waiting for them. Its true that the Heat did have a couple of days off, prior to yesterday's game. However, they'd previously played three games in four days, including an emotional home-and-home vs. Lebron and the Cavs. So, this will still mark their sixth game in the past 10 days. To look at it another way, they've played one more game in March than Indiana has. The Pacers have only played two home games since the All Star Break and they've won them both. In fact, both wins (Memphis and Detroit) came by double-digits. Overall, they're 22-10 at home, compared to a 14-20 road mark for Miami. Playing with revenge from a pair of losses at Miami, look for the rested, revenge-minded Pacers to take care of business on their home floor.
