Let's not get overly invested. But let's invest! I do know that the usual and customary thing to do is bet the under in this game, but I don't see it as that easy. Without going into massive detail, here's last seasons' preseason scores for both teams:

So, seven of the eight games went "over" and not just by a little. Both teams' FIRST games were over 40, and although it's a new season, leopards don't change their spots and both teams have essentially the same personnel. Arizona isn't playing Palmer or Stanton, but Gabbert has ton of NFL experience and plenty to prove (and not much time to do it) and Dallas has better (deeper) players, but perhaps not on defense. There's something telling me the NFL wants this game to be "watchable" and not your typical game in Canton, especially given the ratings recently as well as the fact that this game wasn't even played last year. They don't need a shootout - they need SOME offense. A 20-17 game is all we need, not a shootout. At 35, that's got to be the play. Or, it's mine, anyhow.Comment
