Kansas City returns from their road trip having lost 4 of last 5 and the offense is no where to be found. In fact in the last series against Baltimore they scored a total of 3 runs in 3 games and that was against Jimenez, Bundy and Hellickson not exactly top of the line pitchers. Tonight they face Yovani Gallardo who since returning from the DL has allowed 3 runs in his 1st start and 1 in his last start. Trevor Cahill goes for Kansas City and has been a mess in his last 2 starts going just 7 2/3 innings allowing 10 runs and 21 men to reach base against him. Seattle has won 4 of their last 5 games. Kansas City was shutout last night and following a game where they scored 1 run or less they are 14-30 in their next game the last 2 seasons. My numbers have Seattle winning 5-3.
