Our selection is on the Rice Owls
Stanford and Rice go half way round the world to play in Sydney Australia for their opener. We believe although Stanford is by far the better club, they are just laying way too many points to the underdog Owls. Stanford starts 2017 without two of their last year’s superstars in RB Christian McCaffrey and DL Solomon Thomas. Although they retain 14 starters from last year’s squad those two guys will be very tough to replace. Rice will have a new QB to start this year and freshman Sam Galesmann has won the job. We do not see HC David Bailiff putting this kid into too many tough situations to start the year. In saying this, we believe this game unlike most college games will be played more on the ground than in the air. This will always be good for the underdog especially when we have 30 1/2 points at the time of this writing. There are many distractions especially being in Australia for these kids and with Stanford knowing they are much the better team it will be interesting to see their mindset for this game. HC Shaw will not run up the score on the Owls just as in last year’s game were Stanford won 41-17 at home even though they could have won by a bigger margin. The Owls are 15-5-2 ATS in their last 22 non-conference games which just solidifies our selection.
So lets get the job done with the Rice Owls.

CFL GAME OF THE WEEK Game: (375) B.C. Lions at (376) Ottawa RedBlacks Date/Time: Aug 26 2017 3:30 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Bookmaker Play Rating: 3% Play: B.C. Lions 1.0 (-105)
Our selection is on the BC Lions
The Lions go to Ottawa this afternoon and they have now lost three of their last four games. We believe Ottawa will be just what the doctor ordered for the Lions today. Like every year in the CFL, the West is dominant compared to the East. BC are 3-0 against East division teams this season all on the road, while Ottawa have not won against a Western Division team in six attempts. The Lions had a heartbreak loss last week against the best team in the CFL in Calgary and we believe they will come out flying against one of the worst defences in the CFL. This will be QB Jonathan Jennings third start off the injury and he seems to be getting better every game. Ottawa beat Hamilton for their second win of the season but this club is not close to the team that lifted the Grey Cup last season. The Lions are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight up loss which just solidifies our selection.
So let’s get the job done BC Lions.

Game: (913) Milwaukee Brewers at (914) Los Angeles Dodgers
Date/Time: Aug 26 2017 9:10 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: William Hill Play Rating: 3% Play: Milwaukee Brewers +160
Our selection is on the Milwaukee Brewers
LISTED PITCHERS: Davies/Stripling
We actually gave Milwaukee out last night as a free play in a game that went as expected although the Brewers could not score any runs which was not expected. Tonight they get a chance at a spot starter coming out of the LA bullpen in RH Ross Stripling (3-4, 3.41 ERA) Stripling started 14 games last year for the Dodgers but this will be his first start of 2017. Milwaukee will send RH Zach Davies (14-7, 4.09 ERA) to the hill and he has been pitching very well on the road this season. He has a 7-1 record with a 2.56 ERA and a whip of 1.164 in 13 road starts. The last time he faced the Dodgers he pitched six scoreless innings. The Brewers are in a fight for a wild-card berth or division title and this will be the best time for them to beat the Dodger machine. We are getting +160 with Milwaukee tonight and will be more than happy to take it.
So let’s get the job done with the Milwaukee Brewers.
