Low total, but it's hard looking at the statistics to make a compelling enough case to side with the Over, as South Alabama comes into this game having played each of their last 4 games Under the posted price.

On the other side of the line, the Trojans of Troy have played ALL 5 of their contests this season Under the total.

A look at the series numbers the past 5 years these teams have met show the Under standing at 3-1-1. That push came last season when Troy rallied for 15 points in the final quarter to take a 28-21 decision on the Jags home turf and push the closing price of 49-points.

I think based on the track record this season for both schools, neither will get out of the 20's, and while this total is low, I still say the Under may be a bit of a sweat, but it is the way to go on Wednesday night.

    South Alabama-Troy Under the total.

When these 2 teams play, its almost always under. The pressure will cement that tonight. Don't tell me about game 2, that game was a stone-cold under until the 8th inning when 5 runs crossed.

When we look inside the numbers we see Under with a big advantage, Under is 3-0-1 in Nationals last 4 road games vs. a winning team, 14-4-4 last 22 when Nationals play a winning home team.

The Under is also 18-6-2 last 26 on road when Nationals face a righty pitcher.

With the Cubs, Under is 5-1 last 6 playoff games, under has gone 9-3 last 12 vs winning team, and under has gone 5-2 the last 7 "Game Four" scenarios.

      Free Pick is under.

          Yankees vs. Indians Under 7.5

This play just missed out on our premium card. The Yankees and Indians face off on Wednesday night in game five, and with so much pressure on this game, the under has good value.
On the mound for the Indians is Corey Kluber who struggled in his only start in this series, but he doesn't usually have bad starts two game in a row.
Most of the season he has dynamite. He comes into this game with an 18-4 record and an ERA of 2.49.
I think he will shut down the Yankees bats early, and that will make the doubt creep in the rest of the game.
For the Indians their bats struggled in New York and I think that will continue in this game. The Yankees will have everyone available in their bullpen for a couple innings and that will hurt their chances of putting up a lot of run.
          Back the Under.

            Nationals vs. Cubs
            Cubs-158

I'm backing the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday as the defending World Series champs attempt to close out the Nationals. Jake Arrieta's hamstring issues seem behind him according to reports and he's back home where the righthander dominated all season. Arrieta will face a struggling lineup. We mentioned in our game one preview that the Nationals' offense fell off over the final month of the season, ranked 26th, 25th, 26th, and 24th, in team batting average, OBP, OPS, and runs scored, respectively. They're an even worse 11 of 91, (.121 team batting average) in the postseason. Bryce Harper finished the regular season just 3 of 18 after coming back from injury. He's yet to find his groove, now 5 for his last 30, including just 2 hits in 12 at-bats in the postseason. His lack of production certainly hamstrings the already struggling Nats' lineup. Tanner Roark is slated for the Nats today. Roark hasn't pitched since October 1 and sports a 4.67 ERA in 32 appearances this season. The righthander has allowed 17 earned runs in his last six appearances, spanning 31 2/3 IP, for a 4.83 ERA. The Cubs enter on a 25-5 run against righthanded starters and they're 17-5 in their last 22 games, overall. I'm backing the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

              by Eddie
              Latest Odds : CHC -150 Total 7.5

The Washington Nationals will look to extend their season when they battle the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday evening from Wrigley Field in Game Four of their NLDS. On Monday, Washington’s potent offense managed just three hits during a 2-1 loss in Game Three. SP Max Scherzer allowed one run and struck out seven batters over six plus innings but did not factor in the decision.

Thirty-one year old righty Tanner Roark (13-11 4.67 ERA) will get the nod for the Nationals on Tuesday. In his lone start versus the Cubs this season, Roark earned the win by allowing five hits and two runs over six plus innings.
The defending World Series Champion Chicago Cubs know how to win in October and will be looking to put the nail in Washington’s coffin on Tuesday night. In Game Three, Anthony Rizzo’s eighth inning RBI single scored Leonys Martin to score the winning run. SP Jose Quintana struck out seven batters over five plus innings for the Cubs.

Chicago skipper Joe Maddon will turn to thirty-one year old righty Jake Arrieta (14-10 3.53 ERA) in this matchup. In ten starts at Wrigley Field this season, Arrieta was 5-2 with a 2.90 ERA and allowed just four home runs in 59 innings.
              Recent Betting Trends:
Nationals are 36-18 in their last 54 road games vs a team with a winning home record.
Cubs are 20-7 in their last 27 home games.
Under is 24-8-4 in Nationals last 36 road games.
Under is 4-1 in Cubs last 5 home playoff games.
Under is 4-0 in Arrietas last 4 starts vs Nationals.
Free Betting Pick: Chicago Cubs -150
Washington SP Max Scherzer has a minor tweak in his hamstring and will be held out until Game Three of this series. Through 162 games, Washington ranked 4th in batting average and 5th in runs scored. For the season, Chicago ranked 16th in batting average and 4th in runs scored. Take the Cubs to close out the Nationals and move on to the NLCS. Final Score Prediction, Chicago Cubs win 5-3.

New York lost the first two games of this series in Cleveland, but rebounded for consecutive victories in the Bronx. On Monday night, Cleveland committed a season high four errors that led to six unearned runs. Carlos Santana and Roberto Perez each went deep in a losing effort for the Indians..

Cy Young Award candidate Corey Kluber (18-4 2.25 ERA) will look to pitch the Indians in to the ALCS on Wednesday. Kluber was tagged for six runs over two plus innings in Game Two, but owned a 1.79 ERA in the second half of the regular season.

Cleveland DH Edwin Encarnacion (ankle) missed both games in New York but is hopeful to play in Game Five. Through 162 games, New York ranked 7th in batting average and 2nd in runs scored. For the season, Cleveland ranked 5th in batting average and 6th in runs scored. Take Cleveland to win on Wednesday and advance to the ALCS. Final Score Prediction, Cleveland Indians win 4-1.

South Alabama at Troy 10/11/17 - College Football Picks & Predictions
                  by Eddie

                  Latest Odds : TROY -17 Total 49

The week seven college football schedule will kickoff with a Wednesday night meeting between the South Alabama Jaguars and Troy Trojans. The Jaguars have won just one of their first five games overall and started off the Conference USA schedule with a 29-23 overtime loss versus Idaho. Last time out, South Alabama was outscored 17-0 in the final quarter of a 34-16 non-conference loss at Louisiana Tech.

Through their first five games, South Alabama ranks 113th in total offense and is scoring an average of 23.6 points. Troy comes into this matchup with the best defense statistically in the conference.
The Troy Trojans started the season off with an eight point loss at Boise State, but have reeled off four consecutive victories. Troy was off last weekend and had plenty of time to celebrate their stunning 24-21 victory at LSU. The Trojans allowed 428 yards of total offense, but forced four turnovers on the evening. Senior RB Jordan Chunn rushed for 191 yards and a touchdown to help Troy pull off the upset.

For the season, Troy ranks 50th in total offense and scores 24 points per game. South Alabama puts up little resistance on defense, ranking 96th in yards allowed and giving up 30.8 points per contest.
                  Recent Betting Trends:
South Alabama is 2-8-1 ATS in its last 11 games.
South Alabama is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games on the road.
Troy is 8-1 SU in its last 9 games at home.
Troy is 1-6 ATS in its last 7 games at home.
The total has gone OVER in 4 of South Alabama's last 5 games on the road.
Free Betting Pick: South Alabama Jaguars +17
Troy won last season’s matchup on the road by a 28-21 final score and leads the all-time series by a 3-2 margin. South Alabama scored 27 points at Ole Miss and has been competitive for the most part this season. Grab the points in what is a bit of an inflated spread after Troy’s victory at LSU. Final Score Prediction, Troy Trojans win but fall short ATS 30-22.

                              Preview: Devils at Maple Leafs

                              Oct 10, 2017

The Toronto Maple Leafs have erupted for 19 goals in their first three games of the season, the most by the club since it was known as the Arenas in 1917-18. Coach Mike Babcock's charges look to continue to give the scoreboard operator a workout and bid for their first 4-0-0 start in since 2010-11 when they host the upstart New Jersey Devils on Wednesday .

"I think it's good to have a little bit of swagger and confidence as a group," Toronto forward Matt Martin told TSN after practice on Tuesday. Reigning Calder Trophy recipient Auston Matthews has plenty of reason to be confident after scoring the overtime winner in Monday's 4-3 victory over Chicago and shredding New Jersey for six points (three goals, three assists) in three meetings last season. "He can release it from anywhere," Devils forward Taylor Hall told TSN when asked about the 20-year-old Matthews. "He gets full wood on every one of his shots no matter where it comes off his stick. We were watching the game live on TV and his release is so quick and so hard to read coming off his stick." New Jersey has been turning heads on the heels of a disastrous 2016-17 season, scoring three times on the power play in its opener before riding a four-goal second period in a 6-2 rout of Buffalo on Monday afternoon.

TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, NHL.TV, MSG (New Jersey), Sportsnet (Toronto)

ABOUT THE DEVILS (2-0-0): Jesper Bratt, who joined Marcus Johansson by scoring two goals and setting up another against the Sabres, is the first player in franchise history to record five points through the first two games of his career. "He's a really good hockey player already. He's young and he just got over here," Johansson said of the 19-year-old Bratt, per NJ.com. "It's fun to watch, and I think everyone can agree on that. If he keeps going at this pace, it's going to be pretty impressive." Workhorse goaltender Cory Schneider has been impressive in his own right, boasting a stellar 6-1-3 mark with a .925 save percentage in his career versus Toronto.

ABOUT THE MAPLE LEAFS (3-0-0): While Matthews, William Nylander and Mitch Marner grab the headlines, Toronto boasts significant depth with 13 different goal scorers and 19 individual players recording at least one point. Nazem Kadri has two power-play goals this season and recorded four points in three encounters in 2016-17 against the Devils. Frederik Andersen will get the start versus New Jersey, against which he owns a 3-0-0 mark with a .949 save percentage in his career.

                              OVERTIME

                              1. Toronto LW James van Riemsdyk has three power-play points (one goal, two assists) this season, while New Jersey rookie D Will Butcher has collected three assists with the man advantage.

                              2. Devils C Adam Henrique, who is from Ontario, was limited to just one assist in three encounters versus the Maple Leafs last season.

                              3. Toronto D Connor Carrick will sit out against New Jersey with an upper-body injury despite practicing on Tuesday.

PREDICTION: Maple Leafs 5, Devils 2
