Northwestern -2.5 over Nebraska
Northwestern is looking to add another win to their streak on the road today. Last year Nebraska ran for over 300 yards to win the game, but really lack quality running backs like last year and their offensive line is not very good this season. Tanner Lee can be good at times, but also can be just as bad at times. Look for Northwestern to force him into some interceptions. The Wildcats have a great running back in Justin Jackson and QB Clayton Thorson has looked pretty good this year. Nebraska is really banged up in the secondary with 4 guys on the injury report in their two deep. The Wildcats have the offensive weapons to exploit this weakness which will lead to more points on the board. Take Northwestern.

Oregon State +7 over CAL
Ross Bowers has looked great at QB for CAL. This is a team that has lost so many members on their offensive line and 3 receivers are out for the year and yet he still has looked sharp. CAL has a bright future with him the next few years. Oregon State has looked like a great football team ever since they made their coaching switch two weeks ago. CAL has looked great this year against passing teams. This CAL Secondary isn’t half bad and has forced a lot of big turnovers. The problem is Oregon State is a run team and this front seven has struggled against running teams. If Oregon State can feed Ryan Nail and a few other backs they will control the clock and keep Bowers off the field. This spread in my opinion is just too high for the quality of talent CAL lacks this year. In all of the big wins from CAL we have seen opposing QB’s hand them the game with interceptions. The teams that run it for the most part had their way. Take Oregon State.

Colorado State -4 over Wyoming
Josh Allen still gets Heisman talk because people are remembering how great he was last year, but what they fail to remember is all that NFL talent he had to throw the ball to. This year Wyoming has no skill players at all and they don’t really have a great running game. Allen has not looked that great. Colorado State has their own great QB in Nick Stevens who has suffered no drop off from last year. The Rams are rolling right now on offense because they have a balanced running and passing attack. I believe the running attack will be the key for CSU and the lack of running game for Wyoming will be key in this game. Take Colorado State.

4 Units - #365 - Army (+6.5) vs Air Force *3:30 EST

Not sold on Air Force laying this many against a good Army team who in fact has a better defense and a potent offense against the Fly boys here who have allowed 48-30-42-28 points in their last 4 games, barely beat UNLV at home by 4 and the 48 points allowed was to the wishbone of Navy. Army is playing with 4 time revenge in a rivalry game and have a potent enough offense to hang tight the entire game and this should be a 3 point game one way or the other. This also is a sharp side play in Vegas. Army off a bye week with added time to prepare, and AF off a huge conference battle against Colorado State last week. The over 56 in this game looks tasty too for an added bonus...just sayin.

6 Units - TOP PLAY #367 - Wisconsin (-13.5) over Indiana *12 Noon EST

The Badgers were disrespected at 8-0 by the BCS Bowl / Playoff rankings being undefeated and yet not even sniffing the top 4, and they will in fact take it out on Indiana here. Indiana plays mediocre teams well, but if you look at ranked teams they have played, and I mean highly ranked team, they have been blown out of the stadium. I do not laying double digit points with a team like Wisconsin on the road often because their offense is not high octane, but the Badger defense is for real and this is a game they will be fired up for. Indiana lost to Ohio State by 28 and to Penn State by 31 and lost to Michigan State by 9. Hoosier QB Ramsey knocked out twice last week in the Maryland game and is not 100% and still unclear if he plays at all, and Wisconsin owns these guys, 7-1 ATS the last 8 games and a 51-3 beat down last year and the year before a 62-14 blowout and they scored 59 and 83 the two previous years.

4 Units - #371 - South Carolina (+24) vs Georgia *3:30 EST

The curse of being ranked #1 in the BCS Final 4 standings is in play. Plus Georgia is off their big game against Florida on a neutral site and of course they have Auburn, a big game on deck. Classic sandwich spot on the schedule. Do not underestimated SC in this game, they have enough firepower and a decent defense to contend enough in this game to hang within 4 scores. Nothing comes easy this time of the year in the SEC, and this is another Vegas sharp play where big pro bettors have taken a position on South Carolina at many books and this is a big liability for Vegas books, we will side with the sharps.

4 Units - #423 Arizona (+7.5) vs USC *10:45 EST

Cannot ignore the recent run of excellence with Arizona, and the inconsistency of USC at times. Not sold on USC and they have struggled against good teams all year. Arizona QB Tate is a one man wrecking crew on the ground and through the air and USC has struggled against dual threat QB's. Arizona has put up 45 ppg their last 4 games against some good teams and they will be scoring plenty here and a backdoor cover option as well as a straight up win option as well. The Wildcats playing with 4-time revenge and actually have a shot to win this one!

6 Unit Play. Take #352 Arizona St -3.5 over Colorado (9:00p.m., Saturday November 4 PAC12)

Arizona St was embarrassed last Saturday at home against USC losing 48-17 and the Trojans were just better on both sides of the ball but Saturday night the Devils look for redemption. I know Colorado comes to ASU winners of 2 out 3 but those two wins were at home against Cal last weekend and the Beavers on the road and before those 2 wins the Buffs dropped 3-straight conference games. ASU comes into these home game winners of 2 out 3 conference games and before that home loss to USC they were coming off wins over Utah on the road and Washington at home. Saturday night I see the Sun Devils playing much better on both sides of the ball I see the Sun Devils defense being the big reason they win this game at home. A little shocked that this number was only -4 as I thought the Sun Devils would have been -5 or a bit higher. Colorado is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games and the Sun Devils are 4-1 ATS in conference games and the Sun Devils are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 home games.

4 Unit Play. Take #355 Georgia St -3.5 over Georgia Southern (3:00p.m., Saturday November 4)

Georgia St is still in the mix in the conference while Georgia Southern has been awful as of late. Georgia St has bowling on their minds and I know Georgia Southern gets this game at home but I see another loss for the Eagles. Georgia Southern is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 conference games and they are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games. The Georgia St Panthers have been covering machines on the road going 22-6 ATS in their last 28 road games and again the Eagles will continue to be winless after Saturday night.

3 Unit Play. Take #423 Arizona +7.5 over USC (10:45p.m., Saturday November 4 ESPN)

I know USC is coming off a dominating win on the road last week in Tempe, Arizona but adding that half point on this game seems a bit too high. USC has been a tough team to handicap all season long and this year USC is a horrible 2-7 ATS. Arizona comes to Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum winners of 4-straight and 5 out 6 and if the Trojans lay an egg like the did against Notre Dame, Utah, Washington St, and Texas I see the Wildcats covering this game and maybe just maybe have the outright victory.
