The Saturday college comp play is on Iowa at 3:30 eastern. Iowa is getting over 18 points at home in this game and they have covered 10 of the last 12 as a home dog taking 8 or more points. The Hakweyes best game this season was a 2 point home loss to a then undefeated penn St team, that was all out in that game and escaped late. A team that Ohio St was lucky to beat at home last week. Now the Buckeyes come in with a potential flat spot game as they have another big one on deck against Michigan St. Ohio St is the better team and will win. However, this looks like a classic win and no cover for a large ESPN Favorite. On Saturday a massive card is up and led by the mountain West conf. Game of the Year with a huge system that dates to 1980. There is also the BIG 12 Play of the month and several more high end system plays. Saturday's Selection ...
For Saturday, Raise The Bar 1500♦ is the Missouri Tigers as the home favorite over the Florida Gators. At 10:30 pm eastern time on Friday night, the Tigers are -3 point favorites in Vegas and offshore. I advise buying the half-point down on Missouri if your line is anywhere from -3 to -4 1/2 points.
It's 3-4 taking on 3-5, but the big difference is that one team has lost their last 3 and their head-coach, and will also be starting a new quarterback, while the other team has a red-hot QB and has won their last pair.
I am speaking of Florida and Missouri, and it would be the Gators that are the cold team as I type this analysis.
Last year, Mizzou was routed 40-14 at The Swamp, as the Tigers suffered their second straight series loss to the Gators. In last year's game, Tigers signal-caller Drew Lock tossed a pair of interceptions that went to the house. What a difference a year makes, as Lock is smoking right now and fresh off a 5-TD performance in a win over Connecticut, and he has thrown for 20-TD passes over his last 5 games.
Florida has failed in 9 of their last 12 games played on the road, while Missouri has covered in each of their last 4.
Gators also going with an interim head coach now, and will be giving Malik Zaire his first start in a Gators uniform. Too much "flux" going on right now in Gator Land.
