8-Unit Play. #518. Take Over 219 LA Clippers vs. Portland Trailblazers (Tuesday @ 10:35pm est)
Already 2-0 on the Week in Basketball for +$700 and we posted +$1200 winning week last week, let's look to keep it rolling today and add to our back to back winning days and 7-3 Run for +$1290. Wait on this selection maybe closer to gametime as this line will probably keep dropping but we still like the Over here despite the line will continue to drop. Yes, Blake Griffin is gone. But do you know who pulls the strings in that organization? Yes, the legend himself Jerry West - the same guy on the NBA Logo frankly. This is a guy that helped remodel the Lakers, then the Warriors and now for his buddy Ballmer and the Clippers. He is an elite executive that just wins Championships wherever he goes and he knows what he is doing. He traded Griffin who was oft-injured for some quality players in Harris, Bradley and Boban - and a draft pick on top of that. What you are going to get is great depth and more quality minutes across the board and with the Clippers already dropping 112 against a Pelican team on the road and 109 against a good Memphis team on the road, they will be fine without Griffin offensively. This team still has great talent with Williams, Jordan, Wallace, Tedosic and others and will be able to keep pace at home just to prove a point that life after Griffin will be fine. Plus, the Blazers are playing well offenisvely right now scoring more than a 100 in their last 10 straight games and come actually a scoring output of a bit lower significance last game with 107 points and will be likely sharper on the offensive end today. We actually think the Clippers win Outright but more importantly we like the Over here this evening. Let's roll with the Over today in what is likely to be a fast paced contest and both teams having something to prove.

5-Unit Play. #546 Take Illinois State (+7) over Missouri State (8 p.m., Tuesday, January 31)
This one is based on the play of Missouri State over the last two weeks and a straight fade of them based on their recent game. Yes, this team is 15-8 and having a stronger season overall, however the Bears are playing their worse ball of the season right now. ISU has played poorly on the road in MVC play, but they are a live underdog in a game like this. Missouri State is 0-7 ATS in their last seven. And whether in a win or loss, seven of their last eight games have been decided by single digits. Furthermore, recent meetings have shown to be the just as close. Each of the last four games between these two has been decided by four points or less with two played into OT. Also consider that all season this Bears team hasn't been a good offensive team, scoring 69.2 points per game, and only 64.3 since Missouri Valley play began. They aren't performing well enough to eclipse this number. In fact, expect ISU to be in this game and compete for an outright win well into the second half. Value play with the road team and the points. Two rotational players could miss this game for Missouri State, notably their third leading scorer Reggie Scurry. Illinois State is led by three players averaging at least 16 ppg, and they have the game to play this number to a win. The Redbirds and the points are the play here.
3-Unit Play. #546 Take Drake (-2.5) over Southern Illinois (8 p.m., Tuesday, January 31)
The Bulldogs' success this season has mostly come at home. 8-1 and their lone loss was to the Missouri Valley's first place and 18-4 Loyola. Southern Illinois is 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 road games, while Drake has gone 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine home games. The first meeting this year Drake won outright in Carbondale as a seven-point underdog. Here they are home favorite and cash minus the small number over the Salukis.
