“He's been working real hard in practice and now it’s starting to show in the game,” Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock told reporters after Marner’s five-point performance in Saturday’s 6-3 win over Ottawa. “It was the full 60 minutes of doing it right and being on top of it.” Toronto’s surge has left it comfortably in third place in the Atlantic Division - eight points behind Tampa Bay, which has won four of five this month after Saturday’s 4-3 triumph over Los Angeles.
