This is a 1* Free Play on the LA Kings.
We think LA is going to find a way to pull this one out once the smoke clears at the end of the night. The Kings made up some ground in the Pacific with a home and home sweep over the Vegas Golden Knights most recently and we think LA can keep the momentum rolling here as well in the opener of this extended home stand. Columbus on the other hand could easily be caught looking ahead here to its game in Anaheim tomorrow night. Additionally note that the Blue Jackets are just 3-6 (-4 units) this season in trying to revenge a home loss against an opponent, while LA is 14-8 (+6.8 units) this year after a win by two goals or more. Pretty good value in our opinion, consider a second look at the home side in this matchup.

The Wichita State Shockers aim for their seventh straight victory when they visit the UCF Knights Thursday night. I'm more interested in the total though, as this number is set way too low IMO.
UCF has allowed an average of 72.5 ppg through back-to-back losses at Tulsa and Temple, and here it'll face a Wichita State team which has topped 80 points in all but two of its last nine games, scoring 90+ four times during that stretch.
Over is 10-1 in Shockers last 11 overall and 8-2 in Knights last 10 overall, and I think the bookmakers got the total completely wrong here.
