Western Conference Opening
Game of the Year - Part 2
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER in tonight's Western Conference series-opener against the Utah Jazz. And as I release this play Saturday at 8:30 pm pacific, the number is Thunder -3 1/2
4 Unit Play. Take Oklahoma City Thunder -130 Series Price over Utah (First RD NBA Playoffs)
Yes I know the Utah Jazz are won of the hottest teams in the 2nd half of the NBA season but this in the NBA Playoffs and playoff ball is different then the regular season. Everybody is going to be focus on Westbrook and Paul George but the sleeper in this series for the OKC Thunder is going to be Steven Adams. OKC beat Utah 3 out 4 times they met this year and I see the OKC Thunder winning this series in 6 games. Too much Mr. Triple-Double Westbrook for the Jazz to handle in this series and he will carry the OKC to the next round and we hit this only series price play.
NBA BASKETBALL
4 Unit Play. Take #511 Over 212.5 Indiana at Cleveland (3:35p.m., Sunday April 15 ABC)
Game #1 of this series and I can't believe this total is dropping since the number was posted. Let's face it the Cavaliers defense has been questionable all season long and the Cavs offense as of late has been really good. The Cavs come into Game #1 of this series trending OVER games going 3-1 O/U in their last 4 games and they shouldn't have a problem scoring against the Pacers today at home. The Pacers defense is giving up an average of 106.8ppg in their last 7 games and I see King James and the Cavs putting up big numbers today at home
4 Unit Play. Take #511/512 Indiana Pacers vs Cleveland Cavaliers Over 213 (3:35 PM, Sunday, April 15, ABC)
Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Indiana Pacers hit the road to take on the Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH on Sunday afternoon in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Playoffs First Round series. The Cavaliers have posted a 5-1 record to the over in their last six games following an ATS loss and they have gone an excellent 8-2 to the over in their last ten games following a double-digit loss at home. They have also gone up and over the number in five of their last six games versus a team from the Central Division and they are an impressive 11-5 to the over in their last sixteen games played on a Sunday for whatever reason. The Pacers have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here today as they have gone over the total in five of their last six games following a loss at home by ten points or more. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone a perfect 4-0-1 to the over in their last five head to head meetings at Quicken Loans and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both teams to struggle to get defensive stops in Cleveland on Sunday afternoon.
5-Unit Play. Take #514 Oklahoma City (-4) over Utah (6:30 p.m., Sunday, April 15)
The Thunder are going to have a legitimate home court advantage tonight. Utah has had a tremendous season thus but this isn't a good matchup for them. Look for this game to be close early but for the Thunder to open up a doubl-digit lead in the second half. The Thunder have playoff tested guys while Utah is a bit wet behind the ears. Take the home team in this matchup as they have covered the spread in 18 of the last 26 meetings between the two teams. The Thunder are the right side here as Utah is 1-4 ATS in their last five trips to OKC.
Best of Luck
