As for the Capitals, they had scored 4 or more goals in 8 of their 11 prior games before being held to 2 goals in Game 3. Washington should respond here and be able to answer TB goal for goal in a true "barnburner". Only 6 of the Capitals last 18 games have resulted in an under - just a 33% under rate! Thursday NHL Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Tampa Bay and Washington at 8:10 pm et on Thursday.
While Game 3 in this series ultimately resulted in a 'push' as far as the total goes (assuming you were able to play it at '6'), the majority of that contest was played fairly tight to the vest. I expect a similar story to unfold on Thursday.
This is obviously a pivotal game in this series. The Lightning can ill afford to fall into a 3-1 hole, even with two of the next three games coming at home. Keep in mind, home ice hasn't been kind to the Bolts in this series as they dropped both Games 1 and 2.
Meanwhile, the Capitals don't want to give the Lightning any more positive momentum and would certainly hate to squander that original 2-0 series lead, on home ice no less.
While Tampa Bay goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy bounced back nicely on Tuesday night, Caps netminder Braden Holtby regressed, looking like he was fighting the puck for much of the game. Look for both goaltenders to turn in solid showings on Thursday as this one cruises 'under' the number. Take the under (8*).

Rockies vs Giants Free Pick May 17, 2018
The Rockies are two games out of first place in the NL West, a game and a half up on San Francisco. The two teams play Game 1 of a series in San Francisco tonight, and I expect a slugfest.
Chad Bettis will toe the rubber for the Rockies, and he's looking to bounce back from a terrible performance. He gave up seven runs on 10 hits and three walks over five innings in a home loss to Milwaukee. He's 3-2 with a 3.92 ERA in his last six starts against the Giants.
San Francisco will hand the ball to Jeff Samardzija, who is coming off back to back losses. The 33 year old was torched for 10 runs on 10 hits and five walks over 9 2/3 innings in losses at Pittsburgh and Philly.
The Rockies have seen plenty of Samardzija, and they haven't been fooled. San Francisco's lineup is batting .332 with eight home runs over a combined 220 at bats against the right-hander.
