MLB | HOU vs CLE
Play on: UNDER 8 -110
Friday MLB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Houston and Cleveland at 7:10 pm et on Friday.
The Astros exploded for eight runs early in last night's series opener and cruised the rest of the way. I look for a lower-scoring affair on Friday night as both teams send top of the rotation starters to the hill.
Houston will hand the ball to Dallas Keuchel. While his overall numbers this season aren't great, he has been steady lately, working at least seven innings in four of his last five starts and at least six frames in six of his last eight outings. Note that he has posted a 0.95 WHIP over his last three starts and a solid 2.81 ERA in five road starts this season. Two of Keuchel's three career starts here in Cleveland have totaled six runs or less.
Corey Kluber will counter for Cleveland. I don't need to tell you he's one of the game's elite starters and he enters this one in top form. Kluber has worked into the seventh inning or beyond in all but one of his 10 starts this season. Over his last two starts he has given up just two earned runs in 14 innings of work. Note that each of Kluber's last three starts against the Astros have totaled seven runs or less with the winning club not reaching north of four runs in any of those games.
These two teams have alternated 'over' and 'under' results in their four meetings over the last week and I look for that trend to continue on Friday night in Cleveland. Take the under (8*).
Sean is putting his 18-6 NBA sides run to the test with the Game 6 winner featuring the Celtics vs. Cavaliers on Friday night! That's part of a 3-game card that you'll want to be a part of! Build your bankroll heading into another BIG weekend of action!
