Figueroa ought to be able to get this filly to break out sharply in this event. LIA'S GREY - Has a solid shot in this race if you like back class. Has solid early lick and will probably fare soundly against this group.

WEATHER MARKET - Filly was in versus 'open company' on Jun 7th and should find this group easier to deal with. This thoroughbred has recorded the best recent turf speed rating at the dist-surf. Racing at a similar level as last race on Jun 7th at Santa Anita. I think Gaines has found a good spot for her, and I like her chances in today's race. RADISH - Comes out of a last race against 'open' company on June 22nd and faces what I believe are easier 'state breds' today. A pony coming back this rapidly after a good effort is a good sign. Taking a trip down the ladder based on class; has the ability to make her presence felt. The latest speed fig of 90 is the highest last race fig in the field.

HANDFUL OF STRIPES - I think this gelding is coming into top form. After the event aboard this horse on June 23rd, the jockey is going to 'know' the gelding much better. 74-76-96 are last three speed figs. Improving each time out is something he should do again in this event. DORFMAN - This rider and handler have a high win percent together. When a thoroughbred finishes in the top three as often as this gelding does, you will usually want to use him in your exotic wagers. I am keen on that latest race on July 5th at Evangeline Downs where he finished first. This thoroughbred has shown the class ability to win at multiple race tracks. Making the move from Evangeline Downs for today's event, I have to believe he's ready to run. MAGIC COMMAND - I'm expecting this beautiful animal to run a good race today. CANDY MY BOY - You always have to be on the patrol for bankroll building jockey/handler duos; we have one right here. This animal picks up a lot of dough per race. Utmost in this race.
