4 Unit Play. #735 Take Illinois State -2 ½ over Bradley (8:00 pm Comcast) We will continue to pound the Red Birds at low numbers, since we believe that they are the best team in the MVC. They get it done on both ends of the court, scoring in the high seventies and allowing teams to reach the low sixties. Bradley lost to a division three school and I can still not get that out of my mind. The Birds continue to roll and we collect big in the process as well.
4 Unit Play. #737 Take Alabama +13 ½ over Clemson (9:00 pm FSN) The Crimson Tide are 10-3 on the season and I just do not see them getting blown out in this contest by Clemson. The Tigers never schedule that difficult in the non-conference season and often times their record is inflated. They beat a bad East Carolina team by just 13 points and I see this game be decided by under single digits.
4 Unit Play. #741 Take Purdue -2 over Penn State (9:00 pm Big 10 Network) We will take the better team in this contest with a low number, as Purdue will challenge for the Big 10 title before it is all said and done this season. Purdue, which holds a 20-9 advantage over PSU and has won the last four meetings. Penn State is shooting it well from long range but Purdue can defend and will not let that be a factor. Robbie Hummel will do it on both ends of the court and give us the victory.
