The Cornhuskers return home looking for a victory to wash away the sting of the 36-31 loss at Ohio State. This was a bit of a letdown after a big 53-28 win over Minnesota for Nebraska's first win of the season. Nebraska's QB Adrian Martinez has been solid this season, throwing for nearly 2,000 yards and 12 touchdowns. It's the Nebraska defense that has been slow to keep up this season. But Nebraska as a whole is getting it together and will be facing an Illinois team who is set up for a big letdown after a huge 55-31 win over Minnesota for their second win of the season. Away from home Illinois will need to manage the mistakes to keep up with an improving Nebraska. We really like the Cornhuskers to take advantage of an Illinois side that will be over confident to start the game.

3-unit Play. #194. Take Florida -5.5 over South Carolina. (Saturday @ 12:0 pm est).
We are back in the SEC with a great SEC East pick as the Florida Gators host the South Carolina Gamecocks. Florida is already bowl eligible and with a win over South Carolina can cement themselves in an even better bowl, maybe even a New Year's Eve bowl. Florida will rebound here after losing to both Georgia and Missouri in back to back weeks which snapped a five-game winning streak. The Swamp will be wild on Saturday afternoon for this matchup. For South Carolina they roll into town on a two-game winning streak after a shootout at Old Miss where they won 48-44. Look for a let down on the road this week following an emotional high game. South Carolina need one more win this season to be bowl eligible and this added pressure will cause mistakes across the board. We like Florida to mix it up on Carolina and take another Win in the Swamp.
