Monday's College Basketball Plays

4-Unit Play. #725 Take Pittsburgh (-5) over Troy (7 p.m., Monday, November 12)

Pittsburgh can make it a quick 3-0 start out of the gate this season tonight. And considering the season the Panthers had just last year (8-24), any win is a good win. But for what its worth, Pitt is playing good basketball albeit through the first week of the new season. I think Troy got lucky not to be blown out last game against a good Saint Louis team. They don't fare so well against Pitt on the road.

4-Unit Play. #736 Take Duquesne (-5.5) over UIC (8 p.m., Monday, November 12)

The Dukes opened their season with a strong double digit victory over a really good offensive team in William Mary. And with expectations towards some A-10 success this year, look for another big victory here. Duquesne overpowered a William Mary team that is exceedingly better at scoring the basketball compared to the Flames. I don't think it will be anything less than back-to-back 10+ winners for the Dukes to begin their new campaign.
