He has a team that is led by two of the best guards in the AAC in Quinton Rose and Shizz Alston Jr., who combined to average over 28 PPG last season. Those two are among 3 returns starters in all for the Owls. The Georgia Bulldogs are going in a different direction this season, hiring Tom Crean to replace Mark Fox, who took the Bulldogs to just 2 NCAA Tournament appearances in his 9 year. It will take some time for Crean’s team to gel, especially with the loss of Yante Maten and his 19.3 PPG to the NBA. The leading returning scorer for the Bulldogs averages just 8.4 PPG. The Owls are 44-27 ATS in their last 1 games as a home favorite of 6 points or less. The Owls are 10-2 ATS in November games over the last 2 seasons. Take Temple.

I'll take my chances here with LSU to cover the double-digit spread against Memphis. There was a buzz with this Memphis program as soon as Penny Hardaway took over as head coach. He proved right away that he can recruit. That's a really good sign for the future of this program, but I think it has them way overvalued here against a LSU team that is ready to explode in year two under head coach Will Wade. Memphis only beat Tennessee Tech by 15 at home and the Eagles are one of the worst teams in the Ohio Valley. The atmosphere will be electric in Baton Rouge for this matchup and I just thing the young Tigers of Memphis will struggle to keep this one competitive. Give me LSU -10.5!

The Eagles put up a ridiculous 139 points in their opener against Carver Bible, clearly showing no mercy against a far inferior opponent. No way that doesn't have this total a little higher than it would have been. These two played last year and the total was 145 and the two teams combined for 125. Expect more of the same this time around. Bet the UNDER 147!

The set-up: Vancouver enters off a 2-1 road loss to the Rangers, while the Islanders return home off a 4-2 loss at Florida. Vancouver is averaging 3.16 GPG and it’s allowing 3.26. The Isles are averaging 3.00 GPG and they’re allowing just 2.56.
The pick: I think this one highly favors the home side, so much so in fact that it makes this a price that i have no issues at all in laying. Note as well that the Canucks are just 19-43 in their last 62 after scoring one goal or less in their previous outing. Consider the Isles Tuesday.
