I'll take my chances here with New Orleans covering this relatively small number at home against the Grizzlies on Friday. Pelicans come in off an easy win and cover in a 132-106 win at home as a 5.5-point favorite over the Mavs. New Orleans is now 10-3 at home this season, where they are outscoring opponents by 7.1 ppg. Memphis is just 6-6 on the road compared to 8-3 at home and are shooting a miserable 43.9% on the highway. Grizzlies are also starting to cool off after that hot start, as they have gone just 2-4 in their last 6. Pelicans are 26-13 ATS in their last 39 games when listed as a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points. They are also 10-3 ATS last 13 off a win by more than 10 points and 6-1 ATS last 7 vs a team with a winning record. Give me New Orleans -5.5!

I like the value here with USC as a dog in Friday's showdown with TCU at the Staples Center for the Hall of Fame Classic. While it will go down in the books as a neutral site game, this is going to feel a lot like a home game for the Trojans.
While USC is 5-3 to start the year, there 3 losses have come against two Power 5 opponents in Vanderbilt and Texas and the other was a close loss to a Nevada team that is currently ranked No. 6 in the country.
TCU is 6-1 but a lot of that has to do with a favorable schedule. Only once in their 7 games have they not been favored by double-digits. They have not played a single Power 5 team and lost at home to Lipscomb by 9 as a 12.5-point favorite.
Trojans most recent game was that loss to Nevada, which sets them up in a profitable spot here, as they are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 off a SU loss. They are also 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs a team from the Big 12 and 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games played on a neutral site. Take USC!
