Tonight the Border Battle continues at Enterprise Center, St. Louis and the way the Illini have looked on the road I see Mizzou taking this game. Mizzou has won 4-Straight coming into this game and their win over Xavier 4 days ago was impressive. A bit shocked that Mizzou are only a one-point favorite in this game as I thought the Tigers would be around 2.5 or 3. Give me the Mizzou Tigers in their backyard tonight and the Illini continue to struggle away from home. Illinois is 2-6 ATS last 8 games and the Mizzou Tigers are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games.

A pair of 8-2 power house schools do battle tonight in Chicago, Illinois. The North Carolina Tarheels will play the Kentucky Wildcats tonight in the CBS Sports Classic and if you like offense we should see tons of it tonight. The Tarheels have been trending 'Over' games as of late cashing 8 out 9 and their last game the Tar Heels hit the century mark against Gonzaga 103-90. The Kentucky Wildcats have won 8 out 9 and their last two games both of them went 'Over' the total. Kentucky is 6-1 O/U when playing on a neutral site game and the Wildcats are 17-4 O/U following a ATS win. North Carolina is 7-0 O/U following a SU win and the Tar Heels are 8-1 O/U in their last 9 non-conference games.

Tonight in Oracle Arena the Golden St Warriors will look to get back on track after a tough loss to Utah 3-nights ago. Tonight I see the Warriors offense putting up big numbers since the Dallas Mavericks defense has given up over 120 points in their last 3 games and all 3 of those games went 'Over' total. I know this total is a bit high but the Warriors 3-ball will be going down tonight and the Mavs defense again will give up another big number. Dallas is 5-1 O/U following a SU loss and their last 5 meetings between these two teams 4 of them have gone 'Over'.

Strike Point Sports Picks For College Basketball

3-Unit Play. #627 Take Marshall (+7.5) over Texas A&M (2 p.m., Saturday, December 22)The Herd have won two straight, and I don't see reason why they couldn't get another here against a very average Texas A&M team. Marshall score the ball better than the Aggies, so there is definitely value with the points. Look for an inspired performance against a power conference opponent.3-Unit Play. #707 Take Iona (+10.5) over Yale (2 p.m. Saturday, December 22)Iona has played two straight Ivy League opponents and both have been close games. I don't see why this one should be any different. And the one factor that could actually give the Gaels the edge here is they want this one to be high scoring. In previous three and four-point losses it was slower games against both Princeton and Columbia. The points hold up here against Yale.

3-Unit Play. #629 Take Pacific (+7) over Boise State (3 p.m., Saturday, December 22)I like the Tigers to win outright. Boise State is 4-7 and has a lot of losses already that would be comparable to this Pacific team. For me this is too many points for a struggling Broncos team to be laying. Their only wins this year are against losing teams. That's not Pacific this season. WCC over MWC in Boise.

3-Unit Play. #692 Take Colorado (-8) over Indiana State (3 p.m., Saturday, December 22)The Buffaloes usually have question marks on the road. I don't see them having any issues here, despite this being a neutral site game in Hawaii. I'll lay the number with CU over the Sycamores in this one.

3-Unit Play. #678 Take Rider (+2.5) over Northern Colorado (4:30 p.m., Saturday, December 22)The Broncs are 10/10 better than they have shown at 4-5. This is an experienced team that has a lot of talent. They haven't displayed such but I have a lot of confidence in what is easily a bounce back spot. This game should see a lot of points, but let's look for Rider to find a way back into the winner's circle today.

3-Unit Play. #644 Take Long Beach State (-4.5) over Colorado State, (5 p.m., Saturday, December 22)Long Beach State ae usually pretty reliable at home. That will remain the case this afternoon against a CSU team that has looked quite poor at times this season. Not enough talent for the Rams this year, plus the home edge gives The Beach the tick here.

4-Unit Play. #646 Take St. Joe's (-3.5) over Loyola (Chicago) (5 p.m., Saturday, December 22)St. Joe's is just 5-5 so far this year but its all positives. The biggest thing with the Redhawks is they are healthy, coming off last season which they were anything but. Loyola clearly isn't the same team from their Final Four run last March. All things considered I think oddsmakers have shorted the home team in this one. They have their top players playing well, and for me that spells a strong effort on their home court in Philly. A good win over the Ramblers for St. Joseph's.

3-Unit Play. #694 Take Hawaii (Pk) over UNLV (5:30 p.m., Saturday, December 22)This is a classic letdown spot. UNLV is coming off a big win for them over BYU. Hawaii plays host at Diamond Head for this mini pre Christmas tournament. I think the Warriors are the play here. UNLV has been quite average overall, and I don't see them being better in this match-up.

4-Unit Play. #668 Take Missouri (-1) over Illinois (8 p.m., Saturday, December 22)The yearly border war game between Mizzou and the Illini. I just flat out think Missouri is better. They most definitely have the better resume thus far. Wins over Oregon State, UCF and Xavier, I really think the Tigers are the consensus play in this game. Their halfcourt style and defensive effort get the edge over Illinois. Having the likes of James Geist, Jeremiah Tilmon and Kevin Puryear help just the same. Mizzou by eight.

3-Unit Play. #682 Take Washington State (+6) over San Diego (10 p.m., Saturday, December 22)As improved as San Diego is, I think this number doesn't really match up well. Normally I favor the exact opposite, a good mid-major team catching points against an undeserved power conference team. But here I think the Pac 12 team getting this many points is too good to pass up. This one in Vegas should be pretty competitive.

3-Unit Play. Take #527 San Antonio (+5.5) over Houston (8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22)San Antonio is playing solid basketball as of late, and Houston is going to truly miss Chris Paul. Look for the Spurs to play the Rockets tough, even on Houston's home floor. The Spurs have covered six of their last seven games and won six of their last seven straight up. Take the points in this one as the Spurs keep this one close throughout and pull out the outright win.
