First off I know Will Grier is not playing as he has decided to skip this game as not to get injured. WVU has had all 15 Bowl practices to deal with getting his Back Up QB Jack Allison ready for this Bowl Game. The market has been over adjusted as the total on this game opened as high as 75 but has dropped dramatically. How many times have you seen a QB get hurt at one of these high octane offensive schools and the back up steps in and does just as well. So often it’s the system as much as the QB. Remember when Grier was at Florida not too impressive. So I expect WVU to still score and that WVU defense can’t stop anyone. Syracuse offense goes at full speed all the time. Syracuse HC Dino Babers runs his offense at warp speed. Against a decent Boston College defense Syracuse ran 93 offensive plays for 559 yards and 42 points. Against Louisville they had 82 plays and 518 yards and 54 points. It would of been more but Syracuse had 3 TO’s in the game. My numbers say this still will be a high scoring game as I have 72 or more points being scored.
