Nevada won 4 of their last 5 games to get to this bowl game and the lone loss came in the season finale against their arch rival UNLV. This Nevada offense was rolling at the end of the season as this offense can both run and throw the football. Where I believe the big edge for Nevada is in the passing game. Arkansas St has good numbers against the pass as they are ranked #11 allowing just 175 YPG but it’s a phony stat as they faced mostly run oriented teams in the Sun Belt Conference. Nevada’s passing game is far superior to the competition Arkansas St was facing. Nevada also has that strong running game to go with that passing attack. My numbers have Nevada winning 34-20.
