Many people don’t believe that Notre Dame belongs in the Playoff Championship which just serves as added motivation for the Irish who will play with a Chip on their Shoulder. Clemson dominated a very weak ACC Conference this year as teams who were suppose to contend fell flat Miami, Florida St and Virginia Tech. Clemson really hasn’t faced an offense as explosive as Notre Dame’s. Since Ian Book took over at QB for the Irish they have put up big yardage and became a scoring machine. S. Carolina may have been the best passing attack Clemson has seen this year and S. Carolina put up 35 points and 393 yards passing. But Notre Dame isn’t a one trick pony as they run the football also very well. Clemson has had 3 players suspended most notably DT Dexter Lawrence. This will slow down that Clemson pass rush. Lastly remember if Clemson is up in the 4th Q they have another game next week and will want to shorten the game by milking clock to leave some gas in the tank for next week in the Championship Game. This goes to the wire Notre Dame 31-30.
