Will the Dogs continue their 9-2 run from New Years Eve and New Years Day Games? I believe so. Offensively Alabama is #2 at 7.9 YPP while Clemson is #3 at 7.3 YPP. Defensively Clemson is #1 allowing 4.0 YPP while Alabama is #15 at 4.7 YPP. Alabama played the tougher schedule as from Top to Bottom the SEC was better than the ACC. Over the last 8 games though the Clemson defense allowed only one team to score more than 16 points (S. Carolina 35) in fact in 6 of the 8 games Clemson held their opponents to 10 points or less. The Alabama offense has been rolling scoring 50,52, 35 and 45 in their last 4 games. But my concern is the Bama defense as Georgia put up 456 yards and Oklahoma put up 471 yards against Bama. Clemson’s offense can beat you on the ground and thru the air as Clemson rushes for 257 and throws for 274. Trevor Lawrence has completed 65% of his passes and has a 24-4 TD-INT ratio. I’m a firm believer that when you have the better defense and you are getting points you take the points.
