My 1* Free Play is on the Denver Nuggets.
The Grizz broke a six-game slide with an upset win over a short-handed Pacers team last time out, but I think an immediate return to mediocrity is in store here vs. the surging Nuggets.
Denver has won four of its last five. The Nuggets come in averaging 112 PPG, led by 20.1 points, 10.r boards and 7.7 assists a night from big man Nikola Jokic. They’ve been equally adept defensively this season, allowing just 106.2 PPG.
Memphis has struggled with offensive consistency all year, averaging just 100.8 PPG. The Grizzlies have made up for it on the other end by conceding 104 PPG.
But the margin for error is slim for Memphis and facing a team as deep and talented as Denver, which is 4-1 ATS in its last five vs. clubs with losing records, has proven difficult.
Note as well that the Grizzlies are 0-5 ATS in their last five following a SU win and only 2-10 ATS in their last 12 at home.
I think the writing is on the wall and a blowout is in the cards. Consider the visitors in this one.

Somehow this Baylor team is still flying under the radar, which in turn has them showing great value on the spread here. There will be a lot of focus on the Bears 4-game winning streak, but it's the 8-0-1 ATS mark they have strung together since late December. Their only two losses in the Big 12 are at TCU by 4 and by 5 at home to Kansas.
Oklahoma was expected to have a down year as well, but the Sooners were quickly voted into the Top 25 after a 11-1 start. I just think there's a perception here that Oklahoma is the superior team. I'm not saying the Sooners shouldn't be favored here at home, but I believe it should be closer to a pick'em. It wouldn't be a surprise at all if Baylor won this game.
After Oklahoma has played 15+ games, the Sooners are just 1-8 ATS vs top tier teams that have won between 60%-80% of their games over the last 2 seasons. Take Baylor!

It’s a good time to ‘buy low’ on Texas Tech, which is just 1-3 SU & 0-4 ATS in its last four games overall. But this is still one of the best teams in the country with a 16-4 record, and this is a very short number for the Red Raiders to be laying at home tonight to TCU.
It’s also a good time to ‘sell high’ on TCU, which is coming off back-to-back narrow home wins over Florida and Texas. And the Horned Frogs are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games overall with the betting public catching on by now.
