Several key factors stand out in this Pac 12 match-up between the Buffs and Beavers. Colorado has been great at home this season at 7-1. But oddly enough, CU has played just two home games since December 9th. The Buffaloes have still managed a winning record at 11-8, despite the fact that included in this road-laden stretch has been starting the conference schedule with five of seven away from home. Only three times they've been favorites during this tough stretch, but CU has won and covered all three. So now that Colorado is getting back home, they are labeled accurately as the favorite tonight. They host an Oregon State team that, conversely, has played a very cushy home schedule. Seven of OSU's last ten games have been at home, while two of those three on the road were losses. Colorado is a proven commodity at home, and coupled with some inconsistent road efforts from the Beavers, it's a perfect alignment of sorts. Tonight's game in Boulder is the start of a much easier schedule the rest of the season, with Colorado getting four of their next six at home as well as seven of eleven on campus to finish the conference slate.
