The Grizzlies have been a horrible bet in the second half of back-to-backs, going 2-10 ATS in these situations in their last 12 tries. They played a bitter rival on Tuesday, hosting San Antonio, now they have to go on the road and this just isn’t a good spot for them. The Grizzlies have 10 more wins than the Bulls do, but the oddsmakers have Chicago favored here, so that has to tell you something. We think this is an extremely winnable game for the home team. The Grizzlies have a long injury list heading into the Spurs matchup and it could be even worse on Wednesday. The Bulls swept this series last season and covered both games. We think they score the win here on Wednesday and cover this short line.

NHL | Oilers vs Penguins

I’m playing on the Oilers +1.5 goals (FREE PLAY). After losing six straight the Oilers finally broke through with a decent 4-1 road win over Minnesota, but Edmonton quickly reverted to its shoddy form in a 5-2 home loss to the Sharks in its most recent action. The Oilers come to Pittsburgh still hungry for victories and in a contest which I envision being decided late or even in extra time, I’m going to recommend a second look at the visitors on the “puck line.” The Penguins come in off a 4-1 win over Philadelphia, but previous to that they’d lost four in a row. The Oilers play with “revenge” today after Pittsburgh won in Edmonton earlier in the season (note they’re a solid 10-5, +7.1 units revenging a home loss vs. an opponent this year). The Pens have “played down” to the level of their competition all year (12-14, -12.3 units vs. clubs with losing records) and I think that comes back to haunt them again tonight. Consider Edmonton on the puck-line in this one.

Xavier beat Georgetown and Butler, but since then it’s lost six straight. A date vs. the struggling Creighton Blue Jays is just what the doctor ordered through to get untracked as Creighton comes in with zero confidence after consecutive setbacks to Seton Hall and Villanova.
Creighton turned the ball over 13 times in its most recent loss to Seton Hall and it was held to just 30.3 percent shooting.
The Musketeers are now likely in too big of a hole to climb out of as far as competing for the conference, but they have to start somewhere.
Despite having the clear overall “motivation” factor working in their favor today in my opinion, I’ll point out as well that the Musketeers are also 3-1 ATS in their last four after two consecutive losses of ten or more points to conference rivals.
The Blue Jays on the other hand are 4-7 ATS as the underdog this season and only 3-5 ATS on the road.
No more excuses for Xavier, it’s now or never. Consider the home side in this one.

I'll take my chances here with the Kings as a near double-digit dog at Denver in the final game before the All-Star break for both teams. Sacramento has been one of the biggest surprises in the league, as the Kings have already surpassed last year's 27-wins and would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. They have won 5 of their last 6 and there's no doubt in my mind they will be extremely motivated to knock off the Nuggets, who have one of the best records in the NBA. Denver is a good team, but injuries have really slowed them down of late. They were able to blowout Miami at home in their last game, but had lost 3 straight prior to that victory. The big news leading up to this game is that Isaiah Thomas could make his debut. The guy hasn't played in almost a year and is a liability defensively. I just think Denver is more interested in just getting to the All-Star break and worrying about getting back on track when they get back. Give me the Kings +8!

I just think the Bruins are getting way too much respect on the road in this one. UCLA won their first 3 games under interim head coach Murray Bartow, but it's been a real struggle of late. UCLA is just 2-6 since that strong start under Bartow and enter this contest having lost their last 3.
The most recent defeat was an absolutely crushing 93-92 loss at home to Utah, where the Utes Parker Van Dyke nailed a deep 3-pointer at the buzzer. UCLA is now 5-6 in the Pac-12 and simply have nothing to play for but pride at this point.
While Cal sits dead last in the conference at 0-11, I expect to see a lot of fight from the Golden Bears the rest of the way to avoid going winless in Pac-12 play, especially at home. UCLA is also an opponent that a lot of these teams get up for no matter how good/bad the Bruins are.
Cal has also been much more competitive of late, as their last 3 losses have all come by single-digits and the last time they played at home they lost by a mere 3-points to Utah.
Bruins are 8-22 ATS last 30 following a loss, 3-9 ATS last 12 on the road and 2-6 in their last 8 conference games. Golden Bears are also 6-2 ATS last 8 times they hosted UCLA. Take California!

Golden State has opened up a three-game lead over the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference and will be shooting for its sixth straight win before getting in a bit of relaxation.
