Looks respectable to be on or close to the front end at the first call. Could beat this group of animals given the 86 Equibase Speed Figure garnered in his last outing. FORTY ACRES - He has a good opportunity in this race as trainer, McMahon, has sharp win clip with horses going this distance. Quite good jockey and trainer combo winning 26 percent of their races working together. HAYNE'S FEVER - Is a solid choice - given the 92 Equibase Speed Fig from his most recent race.

TAPIT STAR - Delacruz was aboard this colt last time out and was impressed enough to take the horse right back. This colt should find these state breds easier than what he faced in his last affair on February 2nd. Lets try to beat the favorites with this colt. Just missed last out, but ran a decent race. Delacruz and McBride teamed up together are a handicapper's friend. LEO DEL REO - The rider/handler duet of Bridgmohan and Mason has a strong ROI together. Lots of trouble last time out. This time around Bridgmohan should keep him clean so he runs a good race.

EAST MOON LAKE - This questionable contender will probably need at least one more race after the lackluster showing following the very long layoff. Today's event is 6 furlongs. Hasn't finished in the money in a short distance clash in the last couple months. Not the best of omens. This animal hasn't been around in either of his last two races. CROW MOUNTAIN - Difficult to put your money on this early speedster. Too much speed in the clash. Somewhat easily forgotten speed fig in the last race at Oaklawn Park at 6 furlongs. Don't feel this racer will improve too much in today's event. DESTINEDTOBEASTAR - Doubtful that the speed rating he recorded on Jan 10th will be good enough in this race.

I've got to go with DIABOLICAL CHIME. Will likely be one of the early speedsters of the pack going into the midpoint of the race. Ran a strong last race. This filly obviously likes the distance, going 2 for 8 in her races recently. COMICS CASHWAY - Her 54 average has this filly with among the strongest speed figs in here. This filly is a definite contender based on her earnings per start in dirt sprint contests. SUZY Q - This horse has been constatntly running well lately. Very strong choice to take this race going in a dirt sprint.
