The Lions gave a respectable performance on a national stage Thursday night, pushing high-powered Gonzaga to the wire before a television audience. Unfortunately, LMU's offense went cold late and the Bulldogs pulled away. It's hard to see the Lions avoiding a flat spot Saturday with just one day of rest in between. Their gym will revert to near-empty, the enthusiasm faded, and a tough opponent across the floor in a BYU club that comes in with some positive energy following a dramatic comeback win in its previous outing.
