HOUSTON -3
HOUSTON @ L.A. LAKERS | 2/21 | 10:30 PM EST
1:10 PM
The Rockets should receive a much-needed boost up front with Clint Capela (thumb) listed as probable for this matchup. Kenneth Faried played well in Capela’s absence, but Capela is a far superior player. Now the Rockets get to enhance their depth with Faried part of their second unit. Austin Rivers (elbow) is also listed as probable. The Rockets have not been a good road team, but with the Lakers just 11-16-1 ATS at home, I’ll take the Rockets to win and cover this small line.

MILWAUKEE -5.5
BOSTON @ MILWAUKEE | 2/21 | 8:00 PM EST
1:05 PM
These two teams have met twice this season, with each winning a game. Both contests were played in Boston, where the Celtics are 23-8. They aren’t the same team on the road with a 14-13 record, which includes a 10-16-1 mark against the spread. The Bucks are 17-10-1 at home against the spread and should have the services of Nikola Mirotic (calf) for the first time since acquiring him from the Pelicans, so I’ll take the Bucks to cover Thursday.

7-Unit Play. Take #511 Sacramento (+12.5) over Golden State (10:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21)
This game is a lot bigger for the Kings than it is for the Warriors. Sacramento will be rested and ready to play while the Warriors are going to be tired from the All-Star festivities. The All-Star break is good news for Kings backers as they are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games when playing on three or more days rest. The Kings have actually been quite tough versus Golden State. The Warriors have won all three games between the teams thus far this year, but its by a total of 10 points. Sacramento is a tough team to prep for as they are extremely quick and very athletic. The Warriors have done very well straight up winning 16 of their last 18 games overall, but they have only covered the spread in eight of those 18 games. Yes, they are winning, but they aren't the cash cow that people expect them to be. This number is just too high for this spot. This will be a game, not a blowout. Will the Warriors win? Probably, but not by double-figures. The Kings are scrappy and they will do everything they can to put themselves in position to win this game outright. Take the Kings in this matchup as the underdog has covered four of the last five meetings, the road team has covered six of the last eight meetings, and Sacramento has covered the spread in their last four trips to Golden State.
